I somewhat agree with you, I just think it's more humane, I'd be insulted if I was sniped however if I had a 357. to my head and the guy says "sorry man" and kills me, it's more forgiving, maybe it's just me haha

if you're in a canyon, gunfire will be concentrated and funneled up/down the canyon, can be hear as far as 2-3 miles away. if you're on a hill top or there's just nothing around you, sound will dissipate into the air quickly, maybe 3/4 mile to 1 mile. if you;re in the woods/ or there's lots of trees surrounding you, the trees & various kinds of plants will quickly dissipate & dampen the sound, maybe 1/2 mile to 3/4 mile. also- that 7.62x54r rifle- is it a rifle or a carbine? the carbines makes a bigger muzzle blast that is basically louder and can be heard more distinctively. wind also plays a factor too. So there needs to be a atmosphere system involved if this was to become possible.

I might just be wrong but in the early days of SA this was actually a thing. I may be getting it mixed with the mod though, but I swear you could do it on one of them.

I do not like this suggestion. It's bad enough vehicles aren't here yet, let alone breaking every 20 seconds just to catch some air.

What in God's name have they done to the new update? Melee is insanely...crap! And a zombie can now hit me whilst they are downstairs! What is the devs major issue with the zeds seriously?! Anybody else having these problems yet?

But it was a perfect system and then they f***d it up...why try fix something if it isn't already broke IE the old melee system.
