The 94876 patch upgrades the version of the game to 1.61, all the other patches were at 1.60 so I don't think the new patch is backwards compatible with older versions. I've seen servers running pre-94876 telling me I have the wrong version, my 1.61 is in red and says required version 1.60. Also there is the red 'X' next to the server name so I think that's the issue. But once the servers get updated then it should be fine.

I know that my character will get hungry and thirsty while I'm offline. My question is, if I have to go offline for a number of days, maybe even a week or two, holidays/vacation etc. What state will the hunger/thirst meters be in? Will I just have to eat and drink as normal if they are red and flashing, or can my character starve/dehydrate to death while offline? Thanks.

Awesome guys thanks! Good thing I keep a decent stock of food and water on me. If I do need to be away from the game for too long.

Yup meat is the best food. Also if you see a cow, and can safely kill it then do it. Cows have 8 meat that can be gutted, that's 6400bp!
