... Obviously where the Dholes burrow

I think the choice of colors and shapes does matter. I don't think a ttsko jacket is better a green hoodie for staying hidden though. I do think that an improvised backpack is harder to spot than a red mountain backpack though.

I can handle a few more small towns. Just a few. Don't really see a need for more major cities either. The density is starting to feel too high already.

OMG! Green Mountain finally made a forum account ... Edit: RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
-
Yeah, this game really knows how to put some adrenaline in your system! Makes me wonder how much my hand would shake if someone REALLY shot at me.

I am the Yung Nigerian Prince, and this is my song

Yeah 50 fps isn't low for current stable build. If you get a new PC, can I have the old one? -
I think this covers it:

Hmm, maybe it has to do with where on the map we are or whether we play hardcore/regular ... or simply luck. Anyhow, I think it changed for the better. A few months back, people seemed to be a lot more hostile than they are now.

You might be clicking on an experimental server? They run a later version number and therefore refuse connections from clients running the stable version.

I'm stuck inside the walls of a building, i cant get out?

It's inadvisable to log out above ground level in my experience. -
I'd like to call him an idiot, but seeing how I axed a friend of mine yesterday I should probably just keep quiet. Fortunately his favorite pair of binoculars took the brunt of the blow. Anyhow - I can see how the item damage is a bit too high atm. With the current zombie situation, your shirt turns into a place where items go to die. It does, however, give me stuff to do. Once the game has more things to keep me occupied (diseases, cars, bases) I wouldn't mind seeing item damage nerfed a bit.

Lol. Surprising how often you hear people say that and how little it fits my game experience. I'd say 75% do NOT KoS. 25% is far from, "everyone, always".

Good topic! I'll have to disagree there! Been saved by an epipen at least twice. Just a few weeks back, I took a shot to the head. Fortunately my buddy had just nagged me into putting on a pristine ballistic helmet, which got ruined as I got knocked out. The epipen meant that he could get me awake and out of the position where half my body was visible to the sniper.

Well, try and see it from everyone else's perspective. In the mod days, countless times someone spotted some shitbag sniper killing fresh spawns in the mod and missed the first shot, BAM, combatlog. All the times someone opens fire, kills one in your group, you advance, surround an then, BAM, combatlog. Since there wasn't the possibility of making the timeout, combat logging was fought through flame wars, accusations, screen shots and hardy admins reading through waaay too many server logs. The combat logger was a burden. Unwanted, unliked and untouchable. Then you show up going "Are you fucking serious, combat logging doesn't work!!!" (nope, not exactly what you wrote, but I do think it carries the gist of it). Naturally everyone jumps at you. FINALLY combat loggers are punished for their deeds, and now the have the balls to actually complain that they can't get to do it? Guess most people didn't even consider the possibility that you didn't know what combat logging was and how and why it was disliked. Sure I think most people will understand now that you just didn't know. If they get far enough into the thread, that is. Edit: F in typietypie.

Guess they're still around then. Lots of other things became more rare with the .47 loot system upgrade. And they were sort of common previously. Guess the chances of finding one just dropped sharply. Oh well, zombies will have to contend with ruining an empty chest holster.

Just east of Zub, you can usually find three or four cows. I wish you an enjoyable rampage!

Then it's not exclusively cursed! Hehe, I think the guy's just referencing HL2. "We don't go to Ravenholm any more ..." Anyhow, I like the suggestions regarding ambient. Better ambient would do much for me. My guess would be that current ambient will be changed a lot when they overhaul the sound system. One objection though: Personally I'd prefer if branches snapped if something actually snapped them. Like every once in a while, when you're running around in the forest, a foot step would break a branch, creating a sound that can be heard further away than the footstep. Same would go for zombie footsteps and possibly animal foot steps. A breaking branch would really get your heart rate up. Edit: stating opinion fail.

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen one since the patch either ... Could just be bad luck though.

Civilian clothing items that you'd like to see in the game

I realize there's another similar thread, but I find myself scrolling past pages of sniper rifles before getting to the awesomely quirky civilian clothing suggestions. Anyhows, I figured it should have its own thread: Kilts: A McJob outfit: And since we already have the masks: -

Or how about an I-wanna-respawn hat? -
Nice! Somewhat related: when will bear traps show up?
-
Exactly!

It's DayZ, you set your own goals. If your goal is looking people in the eye before you shoot them, it's important imo!
