I like this, -Big places like Cherno, NW airfield should have a lot (i said a lot?) of zombies; -Speed variations. I think that not all zombies should be runners. -Rural places should have less zombies; -Zombies in the woods please (creepy screaming ones :D ); -Very very slow Fat zombies that one hit you - its classical. -Military should have to be tough. It will add tactics to the game.

I agree, Farm the right spots. Uber items have to have their respawn balanced. I mean, nerfed alot, ultra rare. If a guy find a as50 and nvg he deserves his advantage.

Gear is the fun part of this game. Spawn more zombies on the servers, make Super Loot spots Almost impossible to go solo.

Mate DAYZ is a mod for arma 2; - Doors and inventory are limited by ARMA 2 engine; - I agree, inventory system is complicated to learn. Try some ARMA 2 single player missions to learn, it will help. - I dont know how to use hatchet as a weapon too, but i use a FN FAL :D - The mod is not meant to looks like STALKER ( i like stalker though). - Turn off post processing effects (or something like that) in the graphics setting. - Set your 3d resolution as the same (or higher) as your screen resolution.

+1 with OP; Military grade respawn should Be Reduced a lot; I miss more civilian clothing to choose from at the start face models (bearded models please); tools respawn is ok to me; NVG Should Be very very rare (i said rare?) As well as top tier military grade weapons (silenced, aimpoint and .50); Starvation and thirst timer shoul be longer to "zero", to counter it canned food and "pepsi" should be rare too. Meat should dacay, but with option to smoke it to prevent to it go bad. -
The best defense against other players, is like in real life, a gun with bullets. Start shoot back my friend. Shoot first if needed. If you die, just chuckle, say FCKR, and start over again. The guy that killed you is good ! he managed to kill you. This is an honor.

Killing someone is a hard decision when you depend on others to survive. If the Devs make the game real hard, then yes, kill for sport will be rare. Currently the game is so easy that I do not depend on anyone. -

Although my camp is not out of the map (I like the woods) I think camping in the wilderness should be allowed. This increases the playable area, and who has a base far had a hard time to bring all things there. Yesterday me and two friends made an excursion to the "plains" in order to find some camp. That was fun. Calculate the time to go and to return to some point, the necessary food and drink, etc. .. it was fun. Allow camps "off the map" makes me want to explore it. Besides being somewhat democratic, anyone can do it. -
Play in vet servers mate :)

Classes in DayZ (let the shitstorm commence)

I support this idea a lot, But I do not think that classes should be restrictive. In my opinion all should be able to increase the proficiency in several classes through use of it. The classes would give a initial advantage on some proficiency. For example a soldier might be able to reload the weapon quickly and a doctor might be able to use medical items more quickly. A hunter could extract more meat carcasses and an engineer would be able to repair an engine faster. Etc.. But I think there should be actions that could only be performed by certain class. other classes should spend much, much more time trying to accomplish these things. One thing is to fix the engine of a car, another thing is to fix the engine of a helicopter. One thing is to clean a revolver, another is to fix a thermal scope. Just wondering. It will add variety to the game. And promote team-play. -
I like this idea. "Roles" will add variety to the game. Is a fault to let everyone to be a man do all the trades. It is unrealistic.

Well chernarus is a post sovietic state. "A 225 km2 open world post-soviet state and one of the areas hit by a new and presently unknown infection which has wiped out most of the world's population." Its in the first page. A Post-soviet state needs soviet weapons.. -

So now, if I find a player with low humanity my heart starts beating. The lower the humanity the harder my heart beats. Now the idea around it: The zombies begins to be attracted to the beat of the heart and comes to investigate the source (fear). So I move away from the bandit to get rid of a possible zombie aggro. The hard my heart beats more attraction it will generate. This would make criminals become undesirable in a group. There will not be a neon around them, nor do they feel more hungry or thirsty neither need for special drugs, they simple would become outcasts of society. As in reality are.

I like this idea because if i find myself in a desperate hunger state i can put a bullet in my friends head and eat his flesh..
