Dude, I suggest being rid of that. That's hacked in, and it'd be better for everyone if you hid it on a body, and hid the body. Make the hacker's weapon disappear forever.

I'm sorry, are you a developer? Please, tell me more about how your idea would make the game better... If the devs wanted to do this, they will. Not because someone asked them to. There are massive repercussions from doing this, and the playerbase would suffer more than the people who just joined the game. And the hackers/dupers wouldn't be affected at all.

If they wanna go to WarZ, let them! IF they don't like a game they're playing, and instead cry on the forums, they really shouldn't play it. DayZ has a great playerbase going for it, and they're people who'll put up with the shit knowing a fix is coming.

It's not one person's gear. It's screwing all of the DayZ players because of "duped" gear, and, as has been posted before, dupers and hackers will just keep doing it after the wipe. There's absolutely no point to your idea, besides slowing them down for, what, a couple of hours? No point at all.

I found a way to take care of this. What you do is when you switch to Debug, and hit okay, it'll light all green. Go back into game options, switch to another option, DO NOT PRESS OKAY, watch the indicators turn normal, and then switch back to Debug, and the indicators will work normally. Now you can hit okay. But yeah, i can vouch for this too. Was about to start another thread til I saw this.

Maybe once underground bases become a thing will barbed wire be useful. Until then, unless you're setting up an actual post, it has no real service. This just helps to prove my point.

So I did a live stream during my lunch at work, and I was just screwing around, making my way to an unnamed mountain, and this happened. Can someone explain how this happened? NOTE: I freaked out because I was afraid that if it was a hacker, it would soon send me flying into the sky... and falling just as quickly. Also, that was the first time I had opened my gear during my playtime.
