To those crying about graphics not being uber in Dayz and to those who think graphics make the game try these games for size :) Great games that dont rely on flashy graphics, Just awesome gameplay :) ps - am hoping Rocket takes a look at Project Zomboid (some great ideas for Dayz in it) :) :) I guess he could get some ideas from FTL and KSP too, Hey Spaceman Zombies lol

Get both, cos Dayzmod is gonna go in many different directions like it is at the moment cos players are making it now. Standalone is 1 direction (not the crap band btw lol)

Are you meant to be letting zombies hit you in a Zombie survival game? Would you survive long in real life (if it was to happen lol) if you did? One hit from a zombie in real life (if it was to happen lol) would probably infect you whether if was a scratch from a zombies nails or a bite, and then im afraid good sir would be your lot :)

I got Minecraft (which was a shell of a game with not many features) at the very start and was playing it for years with constant updates and new stuff added every month, sometimes more. That game kept me entertained for years, I and many others felt part of the development. If i had bought a "finished" minecraft game years ago when it started do you think i would have played it for as long as i have? Do you think i would have felt part of the minecraft community? Would i have had as much fun if the game was finished from the start? No is answer btw :P Am looking forward to being part of Dayz standalone for the next year (or so), Is all part of the fun imo :) So if dean wanted to release Dayz with just me running around chernarus with no zombies, no loot, no vehicles, no guns. Just me and chern, Id still buy it and look forward to them updates of new stuff added every week/month :) Good times are a coming :P (ps - Arma 3 is doing the same also and im in on that fun too) :D Oh and Kerbal space programme, and prison architect, and project zomboid. Fuck finished games :D

Ahh the first day, the feeling of abandoment, being lost, scared and desperate. No other game has given me the memories and emotions that Dayz has (and it was freeeee) :) Bring on the standalone :)

Aim higher than dayz tbh, Aim for Arma 3 and it shall run Dayz easily :)

Steam version is ok, am sure the dayz mod is on there too, but if not you can use DayzCommander to download all stuff you need to play dayz. You deff need Arma 2 and Arma 2 operation arrowhead to run Dayz. I doubt very much Dayz will be out on Arma 3, But Arma 3 is an awesome game without Dayz anyway :P But Dayz standalone alpha will be realeased sometime in June this year, but id deff get Arma 2 to play Dayz as its one of the most memorable games i have ever played.

To all them people waiting on Dayz standalone. Play Arma 3, its awesome :D

I kinda like the Madmax apocalyptic scenario where everyone fought over food, fuel and weapons. They became basically the main currency, especially fuel. So am hoping fuel isnt abundant in standalone like it is in Dayzmod. Maybe have a fuel station up north, and can fill up a tanker truck from it and then fill up individual petrol pumps (that run out) from that tanker. Yes it may take some effort of a few people to accomplish this but would be more fun than just abundant fuel everywhere.

Get one with good processor, and 64bit.. rest can be added after if need more. dont get sidetracked with added memory and ram. tbh dual is ok, dont need quad.

How much you wanting to spend on a comp? Tbh look towards the Dayz standalone A good benchmark would be Arma 3 tbh m
