My ideas for plausible NPC survivors.

Not crazy on NPC's.. Ghost npcs? :P You would see someone in distance then they would disapear. Would be cool in Dayz if a (ghost player npc) could say run across road up ahead maybe. It would scare the bejesus outta me cos wouldnt know if real player or not lol :P -
Infected are affected by the weather, they cant hear as well when it raining and cant see well at night or in fog, but they can hear better in fog :P The bleeding thing is a good idea tho :) I posted elsewhere to have blood on hands if loot a dead player and zombies can smell blood from a certain distance.

Rocket has said there will be a Zombie evolution system where zombies who eat players get stronger and faster and ones who dont get slower and weaker, So in areas where alot players die from zombies the Zombies will be stronger and faster. (Gorka and berezinho come to mind lol) Ye agree military Zombies should be tougher, cos good loot at military bases so let players work for it :P

Play at night on an emptyish server? Use chemlights and flares. Dont go into Cherno or Elektro. Ive managed to play for about a week once without ever meeting a soul, Normally by staying away from hotspots like Cherno, Elektro, Stary, NE & NW AF & Devils castle. Theres many other towns to go, Berezinho, Polana etc :P

Straight forward logic about why we need a morality system

Blood on hands if loot a player corpse. (zombies can smell the blood on you, and you can get rid by washing in a lake) High powered guns much louder so if fired near zombies they come running. All high powered guns only spawn far up north, and make it cold up north so need certain clothing, drugs & food to survive the trek. Also vehicles break down in the cold and disease spreads way quicker in the cold. All that should slow down the KOS mob with high powered guns cos if they die its a long dangerous trek to get more. -
Doubt you will see women or children getting killed in this game, the media would freak out. Watch hollywood horror movies, the only women that get killed normally are prostitutes, drug addicts or women with "low morals" lol Dexter is a prime example, Its ok cos they people he kills are all the above, oh and men too lol So dexter is portrayed as a hero cleaning up the filth lmao :P

1. As it is when you log in to a server in a lootable area loot doesnt spawn for a while around you (maybe it should be you cannot loot anything within a radius of your spawn point for a set time) Or make it so you cannot loot anything after log in for 5 minutes :P 2. The new system of "in combat" is quite good 3. Get rid bandit skins, silly idea tbh (Altho if was up to me i would get rid of saved positions from server to server and you start at coast if join new server, But with same inventory tho lol) -
Replacements for the debug monitor & Onscreen clutter etc. Players and zombies killed - A diary held in your backpack (maybe you find it first before it starts recording your stats). Blood level - Maybe you have different cues at different blood levels so you know what level blood you have (ie. blurred sight, walk slower, make pain noises, shake, etc). Temperature - A thermometer aquired from the hospital to test temperature. (shiver noises and shake when very cold) Thirst - Make sounds with throat when thirsty, Become weak and move slower when thirsty. Hunger - Belly rumble sound :P, Become weak and move slower when very hungry. Well you get me drift, the idea is to get rid of onscreen icons and numbers, This seems doable with sounds and animations and even items you gather and use from backpack. Feel free to add ideas to this, or flame it :P xxxx

After seeing your Title post i came here to disagree with you... But after reading your post i must say i agree with you, Bandit skins are stupid and completely against what the game is meant to be about. Blood on hands and body from looting dead players bodies and maybe even making guns alot louder so aggro zombies from further would be better options than Bandit skins. Bandit skins seems like Rockets last minute fix cos he cant think what else to do to stop the game turning into a pvp shooter. -

Been thinking of ways to curb player killing :P Maybe add an Odour system in Dayz SA and if you kill other players or zombies you have blood on your hands (Rocket has already said blood on hands is an option). The blood causes an odour that zombies can smell from a certain distance (depending on what cycle the zombie is in) and they are agitated and come investigate the odour. Maybe you can only get rid of the odour by washing in a well or lake (maybe the sea too lol) Maybe all guns have a weight that slows you down (the more powerfull the gun the heavier it is) Pistols are light.

Yes i love the blood on hand from looting thing :) That combined with maybe guns being louder and attracting more zombies, and more content (things to do) And Zeds being alot more of a challenge. And i think we would have more surviving and less pvp arena game :P Cos lets face it, Thats not what Dayz is about, Other games do the pvp arena thing alot better (bf3, cod) Survival is what Dayz does best

New content will probably lower pvp deathmatching and sniping for a bit, Until it isnt new content anymore, We need something permanent to balance the game a little in favour of surviving rather than just a pvp arena.
