Yesterday i played DayZ and I met a friendly person. Suddenly we got attacked by a third party. So we splitted and tried to fight the enemy. I had a red Backpack and he wore a blue UN helment. But in combat and with full adrenaline it is hard to look for these things. Noone wants to die, so better shoot first then ask. So later i thought about this problem that everybody looks similar in DayZ. And there was a thing that came into my mind. How about craftable Flags. Like: wooden Stick + Rags( White ) = White Flag -----> also possible to not get shot as a New spawn. or wooden Stick + Rags ( Yellow Stripes/White) = Flag with Yellow/White stripes This Flag could be placed between the Shoulder and the Backpack of a character. So the little flag would be near the Head somewhere. Or it would be also cool if we could just aply rags on our arms with a diffrent colour of course. Just for identification. Your whole team could dress like that and you could be the "Yellow Stripes Gang". or smth like that :D Team kills would decrease and it would add more atmosphere into the game what do you think about this?

Hello Guys, I noticed a weird bug in stable 0.50 Im not sure if it happend to someone else before but here is what i experienced: I was in Cherno and my character was "slowly warming up". Because i was already very thirsty i thought that i better get wet to lower my temperature so i dont get the "hot" status, which would consume even more water from my character. So i ran to the beach in cherno and lay down. After 4 sec my screen went grey and my char screamed. Also on the left side there were messages like "My Feet hurt" ; "My Legs are in Pain" ; etc. So i stood up and ran away. Altough my feet should be broken i could still run. My screen didnt remain grey, but as colourful as before. And my char doesnt moan because of pain. So actually nothing happend. BUT: My Shoes + my pants got ruined, with all stuff in it. Even the small protector case and its contents got ruined: Sorry for bad english ;)

That is possible. I also thought about that, but 4 seconds arent that long imo. also i saw people doing this in videos and they didnt get a grey screen. Also: If i drowned then why got my pants + shoes ruined. Why specific these parts? shouldnt everything get ruined? but thanks for your opinion

i also made a thread about it. this gun seems to be ultra rare or not on the stable yet. I checked like 80 police stations via server hopping and several other locations (bar and office). didnt found even the ammo

Mak and PM 63 RAK are unbelievable rare.

My questions are: How rare are they? Where did you find them? Pros & Cons you noticed? Discussion desirable

indeed. it looks like the chances to get the PM or the Mak are lower than the chances to find a tent imho

strange thing that it looks like that the mak does not spawn in the police station, altough the ingame description says that it is a regular police man weapon still noone found the PM?

so i made a post a while ago about this topic but it seems like everyone forgot about it, but im still trying to get an answer Have you found the PM 63 RAK or the Mak or mags for it and where? To me this weapons seem to be ultra rare, altough they may not be the best weapons.

my regular char has one! 4 x 60 mags. 100 leftover rounds. ACOG attachment. If you give me a Mak and a PM RAK ill trade it with you

chill dude, this rifle is soooo common. You can find it in civilian police station. Piano house etc. takes like 20 min to find one good luck! :)

ty for the information, but actually this thread is about the PM and the Mak :D the AK 101 is not very rare imo. Found 3 today. But not a single mag for it still searching for the Mak and PM

So i didnt play DayZ SA for a while and today was the first time i visited the NE Airfield again. And i have to say that these new buildings, for example this workshop, look awesome. Imo very well designed. Just wanted to say that because, for the first time i was surprised by the beauty of an old house. Imo they look realistic and atmospheric. I would like to see all houses with a new design! :) Good work! sorry for bad english

So I played 130hours DayZ Standalone now. I bought it in January and played in one week something between 100-115hours. It was awesome and i had a lot of fun. Because I had friends who were also excited to play it, just like me. But after a while they got bored and didnt want to play anymore. I also stopped playing dayz nonstop, and at some point I stopped playing. But now, after a few months im back! Without my friends but still it was funny to play it again. But only after 10 hours I didnt had an idea what to do. Im fully looted. I have everything i want. And if i want something i could serverhop all the time till i find it. So there is no need to really "play" this game anymore. Encounters with People are only dangerous. And imo "social" encounters are boring (I'm talking out of experience, since I had a few friendly encounters), as there is no action, no adrenaline kick. As i played with my friends DayZ for the first time there was always a thing to do: We needed a Saline bag, or a good main weapon, attachments and this stuff. And we did not server hop btw. But now, even without serverhopping it is too easy to get fully geared. And after that there is no point in playing dayz anymore except human encounters So I dont want to flame or cry about DayZ being an Alpha and stuff. But is there anything I could do to end my boredom? What do you do if you are bored in dayZ? sorry for bad english!
