This is just my 2 cents. how about making the higher power radios incredibly rare (NVGs, M249, M107 rare) but allow people with the low power radios to use the phone towers and such located around the map as an amplifier/reciever allowing them to broadcast further or allow them listen at a greater distance.

More Realistic Ammunition Mechanic (Bullets and Magazines separate)

This is the best idea I've heard since add the bandit skin as a lootable. Combat would be much more interesting knowing that i had to be sparing with the magazines i had as it would take time to reload the rounds into them (maybe the same time it takes to bandage for 2 mags?). also solves the ammo crisis for the FN FAL as I've got 3 FALs and only 2 mags). -

this this and this. For the bizon i believe 2 mp5sd mags would work and to those complaining that the ammo is supposed to be rare you will understand what OP is saying when you find a fal with an NV scope. tl;dr Combinable mags ftw

took me a month to find a CZ. Found an M24 with very limited ammo and ive yet to see the m107. sniper rifles arent easy to find and ammo is even a bigger pain in the ass. i think OPs problem originates from his mindset of cherno and electro being safe. so no dont even consider touching sniper rifle spawn settings. -
Map border & saving vehicles outside the map

They cant do this anyway as ander has set it to despawn all vehicles outside the map at random times. so no matter how often they press save the vehicle will dissappear. -

how am i supposed to set up traps for your oh so precious vehicles if they removed these things. -
Noob is complaing about balancing. Rocket himself said that balancing in this would serve no purpose other than to destroy what he aims to build. Got a problem with others having big toys and NVGs, i hate to tell you that you will have to deal with it until you find your own and finally understand that NVGs are only truly useful if your using an assault rifle or the DMR.

The beta patch is what fixes this issue. and if you dont have that already your the number 1 reason for server lag. -
There are already RP servers in existence which have there own rules. US11 and US12 I believe, you will however need to wait for them to update to 1.7.1.5 as they are still at 1.6.0.1. and remember i can RP a bandit just as well as you can RP a survivor so why would there need to be rules?

To the people who are losing vehicles remember to press save if you so much as touch the vehicle. and to Ander the genius who fixed vehicles keep up the good work im looking forward to those helicopters coming back. -

+1 if this was the case i'd be able to butcher the vehicles i manage to procure and keep my precious Ural going that much longer. As for the safety thing all you would need to do is take off your wheels when your were ready to log out. 11 -

[/quote'] I'm not the guy your after but i'm just going to confirm that arma does go off lunar cycles so it should be that the moon will rise while the sun is still out if the lunar chart permits it.

Leave it the way it is. NVGs are OP in real life too (also incredibly hard to find for those of us who play without server jumping like a scumbag). I personally enjoy how it is now as it gives a purpose to flares, chemlights (green is best) and flashlights. the moon does rise and does improve visibility. The problem people are having is that they dont think they should have to give away where they are to other players just so they can see, alas this is the case IRL and therefore is the case in DayZ.

yes, yes and yes is all I can say to the skins linked. In the world of DayZ there would be more than PMC running around. It's starting to get hard to distinguish between teammates and a server hopper who has logged in on top of you in the barracks. also i'd love to see the KSK scout skin (aka bandit skin) added into the loot table.

Personally I would like to see some more military and civvy skins added into the loot table along with the bandit skin.
