You make a fine point there gent. I know me myself i have enjoyed the development process. Yes it is quite slow, but to be part of it and watch the world slowly come together has been an enjoyable and at times quite irritable experience. Yeah, I know what you mean about the competition their going to take the same basic ideas and concepts and revamp them. Me myself personally i'm a fan-boy and remain dedicated to different things that i enjoy that some might be considered outdated. For example i still jam out on an SNES regularly. So ill most definitely be sticking around for the long haul. I know others don't feel the same and given up; I am not one of those individuals though. I surely hope it don't get dropped if they keep adding twists in its lifetime with updates they should retain a quite substantial community i presume.

Many great games have took quite some time to develop. A couple of prime examples are the following; Final Fantasy 8(Development stated in 2004.The trailer was released in 2006, and last but not least the game was released in late 2009),Team fortress 2 (announced in 1999 and released in North America on October 9, 2007, Duke Nukem Forever ( The original game was announced on E3 in 1998 and was suppose to be released in January 1999, but was pushed back to 2001. The game was re-written and redeveloped, and a teaser trailer was shown in 2007. The game was then officially announced in 2010, and released in 2011) i know the last one isn't a good example there are many others just do your research or remember many other instances where games have been delayed or had Lengthy design that seemed forever. For various reasons.

The pump shotgun is in exp. build. I have found it several times... I would absolutely love trying to fix a truck to roam around and do raids in. I am a DayZ fan boy, I personally will not be converting; I'm sure others feel the same way. Great things take time...

I really wish they would fix the sound configurations on the suppressor. My Brother had one a few patches ago and It most definitely didn't suppress any sound.

Lol you gotta love that I've been back tracked and lost good equipment under pretty much same circumstances. It's how the dice are rolled sometimes.

This is a shell or frame of the core aspects be implemented into it to start the foundation for a game. It is far from an actual product still. Early Access= part of product development....It isn't hard to understand unless your 12 in that case you shouldn't even be partaking in a game like this. What happened to being I.D.'d for MATURE games. That is intended for a mature audience. If i offended you sorry and your bad Vibes and negative input on nonsense that you clearly dont understand or know what your talking about it clearly not needed. I don't understand why people interpret early access in a completely different matter. I'm really sick and tired of people trying to give this process a bad name. Maybe people you should look into something rather than assume things, that is pure ignorance. Oops i men't to quote the other guy sorry.

So I finally found a tent... any tips?

Yes it has been working fine for me as well. -
There's a big gap between realism and authentic. I Feel the current model design is leaning the right way towards it's authenticity in many aspects of a survival simulation post apocalyptic genre. The only way games will ever have "Realism" is when VR advances way ahead, when you could actually be able to be in a game.... Please elaborate and define your definition of realism. Because if your talking about the world textures etc. it's still an early build and is not even technically a game. At least not yet, it is just a model or frame of the core aspects of one getting slowly pieced together.Yes it has a long way to go, but eventually it will be finished an actual game. I'm sure after a 1.0 version is released the actually game then will still get patches with extra content i'm sure. Besides them working on different aspects an the next big thing environment wise in day z. If they have any common sense the will completely change the next map to a completely different styled condition.Like for example what i mentioned in the forum about Dlc. Now I'm getting off topic... Please enlighten me and the forum with a dignified response. That will give the community census. Just like people say certain things are broken at times, but what if follow me here since it is alpha and exp servers maybe.Just maybe their only wanting to test certain items and configurations at certain times to get specific data. Hence experimental, experimenting on configurations on how things work . Yes certain bugs slip here and there through the mass pressure to rush progress the community bestows upon the team. That is why this is alpha testing it is OUR job to participate and provide data and input about our findings as well as them getting theirs. It is how proper communication is made and how things are done right. Instead of having a closed testing to Employees they gave us the chance to sign on board and be part of the creation of this epic world until and after it reaches the the status of being an actual game or in my eyes a Utopia of Apocalyptic madness with survival of the fittest. What i enjoy most about this game is it matters primarily on pure cunning skill(And spawn ratio factors) unless you come across a low life hacker.Survival is suppose to be rough and they need numbers to crunch to make statistics to get formidable conclusive data to go off of. It will adjust as progress goes in the game remember we as a community are partaking on testing to get results; With so many people it should give a reasonable census. Depending on progress because remember when you write and attach code to others there is always a chance something might break some where along that line. This might not always be apparent at first and/or may occur under certain conditions to trigger the defect.

You could incorporate a Yeti into that map or wait what about an undead yeti? That would be essentially stronger then a regular zed. It would fit the Landscape...Animals like Mt. goats..etc...
-
I think they should have dlc pack for like a south american style with jungle/rain forest and cities, villages, shanty towns,tribes-mans huts etc....It would give another whole another style of play in the aspect of survival conditions and environment hazards(different animals, reptiles, hazardous plants, Bugs/Insects,maybe flooding in lowland areas and/or mudslides?, etc...). Not to mention a diverse item system opportunity it would provide. It would completely change the game play and the way players would think and approach it. Due to be completely adverse to the environment(s) their accustomed to. Yes, it would take awhile to program and make,But it would be worth it think of the possibilities and the whole new atmosphere.

yeah I haven't played much stable lately.
-
I agree i play this game because of it's Authenticity plus more reasons, but i find the Authentic aspect of it most enjoyable. It is what makes it a Simulation style game. Also They have been working on bears and wolves....
-
Stable or Exp server?

Consoles are inferior at least someone has the brains and common sense to know you can't even argue on statistics. I would also have to say agree with you on the PC exclusives are the only thing that have been catching my eye lately as well. I was once a console gamer, never again will I go back to that rubbish. They always seem to be step down in optimization. PC games always seem to be ahead With just not performance but content as well. At least when compared to console versions of multi-platform games. I might pick up a PS4 just for day z though so i could partake in games with friends that don't PC game.

There is never such thing as too many grenades. Depending on how long you successful survive and how many runs you do its rather easy to obtaining the firepower you speak of. Especially among more than one player.
-
You do have to admit though. If they did implement that option let's say on the raincoat. To prevent your hat from getting wet would be a neat feature. Or to help admit to contribute against getting cold if the hood was up on a hoodie. Plus it would lead to other options lets say raise the visor up and down on the welding helmet.etc...

It would be ludacris for them not to make them rare and hard to get working,This is a survival-horror-post-apocalyptic simulation,right.......don't be ridiculous. Not trying to offend anyone, but that would how would you put it; I Feel that if they were introduced to the game in any other way it would compromise the whole integrity of the authenticity aspect of the game if not the factor of genre it self(at least the survival and simulation part.Because I know around a post apocalyptic wasteland there will be perfectly working automobiles everywhere....yeah right). I am sure I am not the only player that feels this way. Now if they made a Auto shop Building model, or auto parts store model it would be nice and reasonable and realistic to help acquire some parts that may be needed.

I'm pretty sure they mean theres a bug in the programming preventing them from creating authentic 3-d camouflage to help you blend in with the environment

http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198143624302/screenshots/ and for some reason this popped up with an open and close but yet the No action actually performed from this no matter how many times it said open or close...I know your not suppose to be able to get in those buildings at least not yet just struck me peculiar about how/why it did this. It says cover like a compass or something but yet I don't have one or looking at one it did this on the building I'm not sure if it was some rare instance that happens under certain conditions or what. Same town as that used to spawn your without gear.

Current found Issues:You can glitch the assault vests over the down jacket, Zombies are still clipping through walls in some instances, Under certain conditions it won't let you climb the ladder; It is in the one spawn point that was spawning you without gear in the north. On the top of the city in it's industrial compound is where the ladder is located i speak of, and occasionally for some weird reason when i was melee(Machete) attacking it would swing a few times(sometimes just once) if i had a pistol in my hot bar as well it would pull it out/switch to it automatically(Talk about frustrating when you have no ammo and are surrounded by 3 Zombies). Keep up the great work Development team, Wasn't sure if anyone else reported these issues. Really enjoy playing Will keep looking for bugs.

Lmfao this made my day... The whole Bonnie and Clyde vibe i get with you both. -
Night vision goggles would be useful for night. The infrared or heat signature goggles would only be good for seeing heat sources or players. Zombies are undead so no heat source/signature would be given/shown for them.

I'd like to see a civilian model .380 revolver(One example), and some more common and uncommon civilian style weapons, at least for now. Military grade weapons are sweet and everything, but in the matter of being more like reality's sake there needs to be more civilian style weapons.I know The developers already put some more civilian based weapons and are still polishing off the lever action and the shotty, but still it would make sense to see some more melee and everything from tiny to large civilian style armaments. Or what about more police style armaments? Like tear gas?night stick or riot club,etc... I cant wait for the performance tweaks though :)

I know chickens are already in the game, but really think about this....

What if they could lay eggs for a food source and there was a way to capture them alive+cage/house them. So that in the future when base building is more the method of play; You could initially breed chickens and have a food source(In 2 ways chicken and eggs),Permanent homemade feather source(For the more primitive mountaineer/Hunter/Survivor). That of course gives you the more challenge of finding one(If you have a net or some other effective live catch trap/tool,small hand held cage,etc...) to start with and keep it alive while having some sort of devices/tools, taking care of it, And of course keeping it alive or your property...It could initially be used as another sense/type of currency within the game and would give players another out look on how to scavenge and survive while initially enabling a key bartering tool that would be useful and could almost a necessary key of survival for many: It would make a way more effective way to make enough homemade arrows to survive strictly off the land after horticulture is introduced. That if your somewhat intelligent that is and understand the concept of the tasks of keeping animals and plants alive to the point where there will be more off spring(Seeds,Eggs Hatched(Due to not collected in time,or maybe even a dud,etc...)to produce baby chick) and keeping the cycle while possibly hunting in between. "Harvests" Living off the land in style. Maybe They will add companion animals like a dog that would be nice as long as he don't eat the chickens in the scenario of being able to initially harvesting them. -

That's exactly how i feel I'm the same way I love the outdoors and would love to have that style of game play.
