Its been documented and proven that piracy has little or almost no effect on a games sales. Good games do good regardless. Bad games tank. Marketing is not influenced by this. And yes, games that are ported from consoles to PC's do TERRIBLE. Not just Graphics, But even controls. Analog controls tend not to... port over very well to PC.

If you think the consoles can handle maps like ArmaII has, you clearly have no grasp on system limitations or why console gaming is not up to par with the PC. If it was on the console, it would be dumbed down severely and hindered to the point it would no longer be DayZ that you love. This is a fact you are going to have to accept.

I use this as well. Just remember when typing flush, you won't see the letters. you just hit enter and it will cause your screen to go black for a few seconds.

When you put an object on another individuals location (during this time it was 1.7.1.4-.1.7.2.4) would end up doing a few things and at random. I think how it works is, It would attempt to bring you to a location and register something blocking your path. It would then either- A. Put you somewhere else. (Most likely Debug Forest or right next to the object.) B. Break your legs and make you bleed. C. Kill you. I don't know how it works, I just know this is what it does and I use it a lot. Also, I have not been keeping up if this loot guide even works properly for the recent updates in DayZ. Some people says it does, others say it doesn't, and its far to random to test in a stable game because servers are littered with hackers so I am unable to keep a set of rangefinders to properly test this for more than a day. It sucks. XD

I have been noticing a few threads complaining about servers that do not have way-points enabled. I personally would like to hear why people are so dependent on a way-point system when the game gives you plenty of tools to navigate on your own and stresses your critical thinking abilities. Lets talk about way-points, the pro's and con's of having them on or off.

Payment isn't a problem. Its our activity. Bluefox paid out of pocket for it and money isn't a problem, its maintaining it and the massive amount of reports of hackers, cheaters, and the like we get. Ebain just doesn't play the game enough anymore to want to dedicate the time to a server. Its a personal manner, not a finical one. We do appreciate your kind words and please know when the standalone comes out its very likely we will be back hosting servers.

No we don't. Someone raided our camp about a week ago and spam built all of our tents to expose it more. Made me Q_Q

Date/Time: 6/17/2012. 12:30am MST. What happened: Clips of Ammo disappeared after relogging. Where you were: Near Stary to the west in a field. What you were doing: Shooting Zombies with a MP5SD. Lost connection suddenly on a UK Server. "Session Lost." Only shot off a few rounds. Noticed my ammo clips went from 4 to 3. Puzzled I went to fire a few more shots while on another server. Only shot off five or six rounds. Then logged out and relogged. Second clip of MP5SD Ammo was eaten. *Current installed version: 1.7.1. Z-Day Latest Arm2 Beta Build. *Server(s) you were on: Several. UK and US114. *Your system specs: AMD Quad Core. Nvidea 6770. 16GB. Windows 64bit. *Timeline of events before/after error: Installed 1.7.1. After I simply shot at some guys at the airfield with a friend because we have plenty of MP5SD Clips on our normal server that hasn't updated yet.

Server is updated to the latest Beta Patch and DayZ Mod. Enjoy.

Just a heads up to our members. Our subscription for the server runs out in less than a week. I believe five days? After that, Ebian will no longer be paying for the server. Ebian hasn't been playing lately and he has been paying for the server out of his own pocket and kindness. He decided to take it down because he feels like if hes not going to play a game he shouldn't really be paying for the server. Which I believe a lot of us can understand. This is your five day warning in advanced to move equipment and tents off the server to another home. Once the servers are down they will not be coming back up. We hope you guys had fun and enjoyed playing on or servers when we had them up. U.B.C.S. won't be going anywhere. We will just have to find another server to nestle into and play on. Good question. I personally have read very little about War Z or cared for its progress. However, if it comes out before Rockets Standalone does or a Alpha comes out for it. I will likely try it, as I do with every other Zombie game like Project Zomboid, Dead Island, Ect, Ect. I would simply be playing it because its a zombie game, not if it was better or worse then DayZ. DayZ I believe will have a special place in all of our hearts for spawning such a interesting game concept. From the Haters to the Lovers.
