Hops and I joke about how Jenkins has Eagle Eyes. Its true... He can spot a pig in the forest or a bunny in a large field and leave Hops and I going 'What the hell?' Too bad his aim with the DMR is bad, but he makes for a /great/ spotter which is what ended up with the DMR in my possession. We decided to hit up the Starry Army Tents. Approaching the camp we sit off and away and overlook it for a bit to make sure no players/bandits are creeping around. About ten minutes of looking over the area, Jenkins suddenly says, "Player, Far side!" Hops and I look around but can't see him, a minute later we see the man crouch walking to the left, but due to my location I am unable to get a shot on him. We sit for a bit, waiting, roughly fifteen minutes pass and we begin to wonder if the man was a server hopper. We decide its best to hang back as we don't know if knows we are here. Most likely not. By some fortune, a zombie comes around the guys backside and sees him through the tent. Poor guy, it told us right where he was. The guy had a MP5SD because the zombie dies without a sound as we were hoping he'd either log out or zeds would swarm him. A minute later he comes crouch walking out and I take aim. Firing a round. My first shot with the DMR goes JUST an inch high, skimming the mans head. I curse as I overcounted the dots and miscalculated the recoil, as he was >500M. I took another shot, to hit chest and he drops, trying to crawl into the tent, I load a second shot into the man and he drops dead. The DMR attracts the WHOLE town of zombies, Hops and Jenkins along with some fast sidearm swapping we wipe up the zombies and move, looking over the camp for another few minutes. Nothing happens. We head on down, grab his MP5SD and several rounds of ammo, along with a trenching tool and two M16 203's in the tents and several clips of STRANG's ammo. We pull out quickly and run the hell away into the distance, feeling rather proud of ourselves and feeling a quite a bit of new respect for our fellow teammate Jenkins. He may not have good aim with the DMR, but he will spot you 1000m away!

Date/Time: 6/17/2012 12:30am MST. What happened: When logging out with clips of ammo missing a few bullets, relogging would cause the rest of the clip to completely disappear. Where you were: Shooting Zombies out in the field near Stary. What you were doing: Shot a few zombies with a MP5SD. Used roughly five rounds. Suddenly 'Session Lost'. Logged back in, two clips remain. Confused I shot a few more rounds, relogged on the server, Full clip was gone again after using it. *Current installed version: Latest beta Build 1.7.1 *Server(s) you were on: Multiple Servers were tested and it seems to be on several. One of them was US114. Kansas. *Your system specs: AMD Quad Core. 6770 Radeon Graphics card. 16GB of Ram with Windows 64bit. *Timeline of events before/after error: Installed latest patch. Jumped on the first server I could. Lost connection on it. Tried it on another server. Maintained a steady connection and logged out myself the second time. Noticed the clip was missing either way upon disconnecting.

Press the keys . and , to switch between chats. hit the / button to open the chat. Most people use the Side Channel (Blue.) You cannot chat while dead/unconscious. You also cannot switch chats while connecting in. Hope this helps.

Best thing to do when overwhelmed by a lot of zombies is crouch run away to the nearest open house with one entrance, sit in the back and aim for those heads. Or if you have the M1911 at close range its one shot kill to Zeds in the chest. M1911 ammo is fairly common also and I use it when not using the M9 silenced. I used a silenced MP5 so I almost never attracted any attention when going into heavy Zed areas.

Hello Everyone! I am really loving this Mod so far-- but it seems I am unable to find out much information about the Heli-Crashes. 1. Are Heli-Locations perma when they spawn or do they De-spawn? 2. I am hearing a lot of issues with unlootable Helis. Was this addressed? 3. If Heli-Locations are not Perma; What is the best way to go about finding one of these Heli's? Cheers, Ravin.

KoKane - Good question. I would assume so if they are limited in spawn. If not, well thats even rarer than I anticipated.

Zombies are subject to one hit knockouts below 9000 HP and may have resulted in your death. 12000 - Max Blood < 9000 - Sussceptible to "one shot Knock out" from zombies < 8000 - Colour and sound begin to fade < 5000 - May fall Unconscious < 4000 - Black and white screen, loss of much hearing capability 0 - Player Dead

I don't know if people are quitting. If ten of this guys friends just quit, ten of mine just joined. I know I got it, and 30+ people asked me my thoughts on it. I said I loved it and One-third of those people went and got it. Here is my experience with the game. First major cities and coastline experience will be a harsh learning session. You may make some friends or get frustrated very quickly. Youll learn not everyone is out to help you and its best to watch chat and figure out who is a new player. Helping them is a great way to gain allies. Keep communication low and to the point, use steam to relay positions. Eletro is much more friendly and to my experience has better loot- This also means more bandits but they are not often. When you head up north, You always shoot a enemy player first and ask questions later. Near Military Tents/Barracks/Airfields players will always shoot at you first because these areas have the best equipment and they assume you have it also. If given the chance, they would kill you first. The out of game reason for this also is most likely the people looting these areas are server hoppers. As you can see, this is a REAL life situation as well. If I was in a military camp and I saw a human survivor. I would very likely be getting shot at because that equipment is dead valuable in this kind of situation. This Mod is by far very accurate and sets the tone. This is my experience with people quitting and how 'real' life the situation is.

I found a Ghillie Suit myself and ran around with a silenced MP5 for about six hours before logging. When I logged back in, it did not spawn me in the ocean. So potentially that 20 minute idea is helpful. I may even go as far as an hour. Random note, I found Camo clothing once before but died shortly thereafter. I was unable to test if this is consistant with the Ghillie suit if that is a proper work-around. I also use the latest beta build.
