Hacking to get money is very different than running a script to spawn yourself equipment in a game. Comparing Real Life to a Video Game in a hacking standpoint is pointless. You generalize your statements to try to make yourself look correct, then insult anyone else who debates it or points out how flawed your logic is. Its called Irony. The Hypocritical statements you make is unfathomable. Noone said its a conspiracy, Its a factual statement. If someone points out what you said, which you admit to doing, why do you get offended? Repeating a point is good for a debate for people like you who don't like to have debates and turn tale and run behind insults. I eat people like you all the time. You amuse me and make this cup of tea go down so much smoother with your tears.

Never had an issue for it besides one time which was my fault because I didn't create the @DayZ Folder for it to install the mods into. Besides that, the program itself seems fine. :3

Don't worry guys. He only uses hacks/scripts for every game BUT this one. Given his track record of using it on all sorts of games beforehand, surely he has cleaned up his ways before coming to DayZ. Lol

I think automatic turrets that require M249 rounds, scrap metal, MK48 Mod, and Jerry can's (and generator if he ever puts them in.) should implement some sort of base defenses. influenced by LoS and distance. Have no hearing but rely on visual relay with a Cone area. Max distance of 150m should suffice with a 50 degree cone spread view.

DayZ Commander is Fantastic. I recommend it to people who ask me how to get DayZ to work or run the game/update its files. It should really get a link on the frontpage of dayzmod.com. Its a great addition to DayZ.

I was around -180k. However, when I logged in one game. It gave me the Turbin, I started swimming, came back, humanity was reset to 0. All my kills reset. Pretty buggy right now, but that's what I saw briefly.

I guess you have your own answer then. I am not trying to change your mind, just being informative. Yes, Battleye did recently do a massive change to their system. There was battleye client massages informing server hosts to update their server side information for the last few days. However, like every battleye update, We get peace from hackers for roughly 24-48 hours before they come back. This time seems a little different, because now when the banning logs show up, it says 'Banned for" whatever reason, followed by "By DayZ/Anti-Hack System." Something is new, don't know what. So far it /seems/ to be working. Guess we will have to see what happens in the next couple of days. I also understand your frustration, if not more. I am a server host. You do not want me to get started on what I can't do with the server for various reasons. Dying from hackers is one thing, but being unable to ban them or control your server besides restarts can grow very taxing on an individual. Everyone has a breaking point and limit. I wish you luck where you go. Edit - If you are bored of Chernarus, Try Lingor Island. Though the Hacking problem is just as bad.

Have you attempted to manually update your battleye files? You have to copy both client and server files from battleye into your battleye folder. If this is an actual problem. I really suggest PMing a Dev. Your GUID/Data could be corrupt.

A big issue with hacking is due to the ArmaII Engine. You should check out the thread I linked above. I have never heard of this problem before-- Have you checked to make sure your video card didn't fry or another problem? I would suggest reinstalling ArmaII. Actually, try using DayZ Commander. That may fix your problem. Oh boy. Like CoD? Have you tried to fire from the hip or while running in this game? It doesn't work. If anything, I think sniping/camping is a much bigger problem than anything else. But, thats not my gameplay style so I can't really judge it. I have to work around it, Not unplayable. Just not worth doing anything that is worth doing. There are other things you can do. Its meant to be a sandbox style experience. If one way doesn't work, try another. Or wait for the standalone. I agree its frustrating. Loot is incredibly easy to find. But is this your goal in the game to find loot, or what purpose do you actually want to have in this game? For me, its not about the loot, its having fun. Again, explain this to me. How do you know you are getting kicked from the HIVE itself? Well, then don't. Noone is making you do it. Try another game. If you liked DayZ, I suggest trying WarZ when it comes out. Maybe even Project Zomboid if you are into top down dungeon crawlers. Its in its Alpha stages right now. Don't think this is true at all. I want to address a few things with you. I understand you are upset. I am hardly a Rocket worshipper, but I do understand what I signed up for. So lets take a breath and step back. You may take my reply as a personal attack. I am merely giving my opinion on the matter. You knew this game was in Alpha, yet you played it anyway and now are complaining. If I may ask, how many games did you play in Alpha before this that was a Mod? Not Stand Alones, but just a Mod of the magnitude and following? My Guess, none. There hasn't been one before. Relax a bit. Bandit Turbins are back in right now, but I feel the damage has already been done. But I can't help but point out from the very start its always been 'Kill Bandits and Survivors' as its listed on the front page to kill both zombies and survivors. Zombies are a problem, but they don't give you the same fear as another bandit/player does. Maybe this game turned out not to be for you or what you wanted? That's understandable. Its plagued by problems for a number of reasons. To add fuel to the fire the biggest one isn't it actually being in Alpha, its more along the lines of it being a Mod and running on the ArmaII Engine, which is not at all designed for this kind of game. Battleye isn't great, but again a major problem here isn't battleye. Its the Engine ArmaII uses. Have you read this thread yet? I found it very informative and even had some of my own thoughts put into the OP.

Battleye and ArmaII consider botting as cheating. Their script detection software might have picked up your botting and said it was hacking, but regardless you are very likely to remain banned. Its like in WoW when people got banned for using Bots to Fish, or mine ore/various other tools. Its cheating. You should really not play with the botting scripts, hacks, or whatever you use. You are only robbing yourself the experience of this game. Regardless of whatever your botting script was doing, for good or bad, its still not permitted. Just like some people shut down their servers to protect trading camps for survivors or bandits. Its a nice idea and cool, but not ideal for the DayZ universe or game as expressed by Rocket and his team. Just because you think its right, doesn't mean it is in the eyes of Battleye, DayZ, or ArmaII. tl:dr, Just don't use bots/scripts/hacks. Eventually, you are going to get caught. I know some hacking sites sell TONS of stolen ArmaII keys for dirt cheap, so its fruitless to say this now. In time however, all good things come to an end.

This is why I liked 1.7.1.3-1.7.1.4 Alpha updates. Food was bugged and rarer than Mtn. Dew. Bandages were also near impossible to find. Rocket fixed this fairly quickly, but I never had so much fun and fear of starving and dying. I got to the point my clan and I were so desperate we started killing zombies for food they had on them. Forcing us to interact with the Zombies and hunt other players. I agree food should be much more taxing/difficult to find.

This means if we are doing updates, we almost always catch the DayZ updates as they tend to do them late at night.

A heads up. I don't know why, but the servers are still up despite our subscription running out two days ago. They can go down at any moment or any day coming up within the next week. I don't think they got around to pulling it off their shelves yet.

Recently I have just been messing around in DayZ. Its really hard to get anything accomplished in the game without a hacker hitting you or you losing all of your equipment because of a hacker. Which is fine, I understand its in Alpha and my primary concern is testing the game, playing it like its a game is secondary. Anyway, Not here to preach about that. Had a lot of hackers hit US 711 the other day, Thunderdome, Choppers, and some force scripted dancing. Sadly, My Fraps didn't run when I got pulled into a thunderdome with Monster and a friend of ours, Ryan. Enjoy the randomness.

We can't restart tents. If anything it won't matter because the servers are down.

DayZ Staff says when the tent is empty it can take days to despawn AFTER the person who owns it dies. Good luck with that one.
