Not possible right now. The HIVE saves all character data, so someone on a PVE server can just get all the best loot in the game then go to another server and just rock your world. Its currently not possible with how the current system of how character ID's work. This is from the current Engineering head for Day-z. Ill try to find the post and edit it here.

Rolling updates from 1.7.2. Server instability might be down. Please bear with us and Day-Z staff as these bugs are worked out.

Caught up on a few posts several more people pointing out 'Loot doesn't respawn'. Its your word against there word. Really, more people are pointing out that loot doesn't respawn, so possibly in the end maybe the loot not despawning is a Day-Z problem and might be fixed during 1.7.2. However, I am staying the fuck off until the load problem is fixed and 1.7.2.1 comes out. Haha. To answer the question how I found out the range distance, Rangefinders. 30m seemed to be the sweet spot for us. If someone else can give me solid numbers otherwise. That's my assumption.

Bluefox is technically allowed to ban whoever he wants from his TS3. He didn't want to hear me continue to argue with you and try to explain your friends finger-pointing at the time is rather silly. Saying your friend 'disconnected' from his dad yelling at him MID-firefight was rather silly. It was 'well I don't control him, so you can't ban me.' Rather, we can't period ban anyone for disconnecting during PVP because the exploit is too rampantly abused and they can't control it. - That is what the Day-Z Dev said and case and point. The one time you 'owned' me you started shouting 'We see you, you stupid shit.' When I never even knew who you were and I was respawned with a checkpack and Lee-Enfield. Quite frankly, my two times with you, your attitude have been rather shitty. Quite frankly, I really don't care for you. Even your friends I have spoken too say you get over emotional and tend to not be calm. The one time I heard you not even relating to this issue it was a string of curse words and degrading harrassment. My point-- We have had to unban everyone for disconnecting during PVP, We were informed by Day-Z Devs we should run fraps and record it, So we can prove who has done it, then they can globally ban. Beyond that, there is nothing we can do. If JFZ Can't see the server I can't control that. Its something with battleeye, arma2, or on his end. Quite frankly, I have more important things to worry about server wise with 1.7.2. @ Theseriesgamer - You appearently don't read what I posted on your one thread. We said the logs and at the time a member made the claim that disconnecting during PVP isn't allowed, when we were under the impression we could remove people as it was an exploit. It was not directed at any-one person. More as a general statement. This was at the time Arkaeus was well known for it. (Caught him three times now doing it.) Anyway, you guys then started asking if all UBCS members are tagged and the clan member said no, we aren't. You all got silent. It was pointed out you do not read completely what someone is saying or half read a topic. Please stop doing this. Now, I have instructed my clan members that this is the last time it will be brought up. If you have any actual complaints that have not been discussed before, please PM me, or post here. Feel free to continue to bump this thread as all you are doing is talking in circles. The current issues have been resolved and its turning into a butt-hurt fest of 'He said she said.' Thank you.

@Hillybilly - Not sure how its very risky for you. Far more risky for me. I got everything to lose. If you are going to the NWAF or Starr, you expect to run into players anyway, don't you? We also barely get any NVG's to spawn, we actually end up killing more people who have NVG's than we EVER find. Like this morning when this happened I also agree that loot needs to be adjusted. I think I posted earlier that I would love to talk about loot discussion and how it works, with its current Pro's and Con's in another thread. This thread however, is about how to farm loot easiest. Edit - Someone remind me to reply to Tra's post when I wake up... You know what, never mind. Ill just keep it up and shut my monitor off so when I wake up at 4pm I will be able to read it.

@ D4 - Day-Z is a supposed to be a bit of both, Zombies and bandits. Many people consider me a bandit, but often enough Id rather not kill someone, and usually don't when I freshly spawn in. Though up north, I could care less if they are friendly or not! I think currently right now Day-Z says no to pure PVP servers or Pure No-PvP servers for a number of reasons and just isn't possible at the moment. Also, I'd think Just PVP server would be Arma 2, without the tank's, wouldn't it? I really think I should get some rest. its 10am and I haven't slept. Had a firefight at the airfield at 4am with three other guys and died, so I am a bit 'ohgodneedsomesleepnow'. Also know I didn't take offense to anything you said. If it seemed like I was defensive, I didn't mean to be. I am just very, very tired.

@ Tech - Oh, I know. I completely expect that. Though if someone brings it up I do my best to explain myself. People can think whatever they like, can't stop that. Though when someone voices it, that's completely different.

@ Tech - Hm. I wonder if they were closer to it before you. Vise Versa, or has something to do with the people coming in close to you while you are looting, forcing the player data to refresh the loot. Ill have to test that out with someone who is not within 200m, come running in as I am looting and see if that does something. If so, that is a definite loot problem and should be patched. Maybe that is what a poster in here was explaining.

@ Mr Two - I have no idea. I have never had loot instantly respawn. Maybe this is where people said 'Rocket attempted to fix loot spawns' mixed with 'Loot spawn timers' Maybe loot is attempting to despawn, but doesn't, when you remove loot or pick it up, the timer is already up and instantly drops more loot, refreshing the timer. That would be my best guess.

I snipe and do a little of everything in Day-Z. I don't have a current job, but I am very social and relaxed. Generally I will have a video up on youtube next to me, or playing game of Thrones on my laptop. Checking emails or roleplaying if it tickles my fancy. I don't generally call it quits, either. Sometimes I will spot a location all day if time permits.

@ Mr Fleshy - Yeah. When a hacker generally does something like a mass teleport or a massive spawn, the whole server jumps for a second and rolls back about three seconds. If you log out right before you hit the ground, you won't die. Your best bet is to stay logged out for a bit and just watch the kill meter until everyone is done dying, then go in. I give it twenty or so minutes. Enough to make food and walk around.
