Hey, Recently with the forum changes I have noticed I am unable to edit forum topics titles. Is this a bug, or how it is supposed to be? This makes it difficult to update my thread on servers I help admin and will end up causing useless thread to pile up. Any work-around for this?

@ Inception - The current problem with that suggestion is there is no way to know who killed you. In a way, I see why Rocket wants this to gone to keep 'realism' but there is to an certain extent when realism is good, and when it is bad. I would suggest in his stand-alone project or even in a later build in Alpha, Possibly Beta, to bring back Sidechat, or at least set up a city system chat. Though he has spoken about radios in the past. Which would not help anyone when you really think about it. Anyone playing with friends is using TS3 or other software to communicate. Survivors on their own have no real tools to hook up with eachother besides the forums. Even then it is a hit and miss system.

I think in theory, Its a game. You are killing for 'fun' regardless of how you word it. Its a game. Some people kill other when spotting them, thats for fun. Some people go looking to Cherno to kill people, for fun. Now, the subject of ones morals is different, but ultimately everything you choose to do you do it for fun. Unless you like to torture yourself and play a game you hate. Right? Everyone is just getting into a moral argument now "You are dumb for playing this way." 'I think you shouldn't do this." Quite frankly, I could care less what anyone else thinks. Its an open Sandbox Zombie Game.

US128 has been having hacker issues lately. not much we can do about that. If someone can FRAPS it when it happens and show a list of names we can have something to go on. @Wutitdo - I am not aware of any lag issues- It could be due to the recent fixes of the games files to read all of the files ingame. There were exploits and loopholes people were abusing and now DayZ/Arma2 checks for your files regularly. There is another beta out, and possibly another 1.7.2.4 update coming out within who knows when.. Rocket also said he would be putting helicopters onto newer servers once he removes their radar function. Please bare with us and DayZ staff through these updates. Post any bugs and problems you have in the Bug Report Thread and Cheating Reporting. Remember, We are the Alpha testers.

Right, but this isn't WoW. Even if you have the best equipment the game doesn't STOP. If you die, you lose it all. You choose to either STOP playing or continue.

Endgame is really what you want it to be. If you want the Endgame for yourself to be determinded by 'best gear' then by all means. End game for me is getting a chopper, blowing up the Airfield and saying fuck all to that accursed place. Maybe Starry also. That goal is still far off, but hopefully not for awhile.

There are a lot of people who are confused on what 'Ammo Boxes' Look like in DayZ. Hopefully this thread will clear up some confusion. This is what a ammo box looks like in DayZ The small Black Standup Box next to the tank trap. These only spawn near Helicopter Crashes or Military Grade Buildings. This is what a hacked ammo crate looks like. There is no such thing as 'Weapon Boxes' in DayZ

Pick up a Lee-Enfield. Shoot those bad bandits. ??? Profit.

Is no Endgame. There is 'gear' but the game doesn't end.

Ammo Boxes come in two types. STND Regular rounds. = 20 STND SD Rounds - 10 Or Sniper rounds I don't remember... I think M24 SVD 10 DMR. 20

It's all good. There are lots of methods right now to prevent server hopping. I am sure you have noticed sometimes there is no loot in barracks or when you log out your items disappear. This is to discourage those activities and people from disconnecting to avoid combat or server hopping. I would suggest getting a group of friends and finding a home server you like and have some fun. Good luck, Ravin.
