Clearly, you are not telling the truth because there are several dozens of posts throughout the thread talking about how it only comes up during specific times and your OWN mainpost says it only up a few days out of the time, then it even says "Yes, we shut it down when the last clan members sign out." Please, if you are going to lie through your teeth-- Make sure you actually delete some of the posts in that thread your members are saying... It looks really, really bad.

Someone is getting upset. Understandable. Read my post again. On Page 2 at the bottom. Dispute however you like, we are going in circles at this point. You or I do not know more than the Dev Team does. Regardless if you say "Well its not stated." can be boiled down to two things. "Either it needs to be updated or not." Clearly, the Dev team says "Its not allowed." As this thread wouldn't even BE here if it wasn't approved through moderation. All report server posts have to be approved. Like Bug reports.

Emu. It clearly states giving yourself a benefit is not permitted. Let me put this into context you will understand. US 1038 isn't a server that is on its own. It is connected to a local HIVE. Meaning all your data is stored there. Any equipment you GET from US 1038 can be used on any other server. This poses a serious disadvantage to other servers who have to be up 24/7 as it states in DayZ Rules. You simply saying "Well, because it doesn't SPECIFICALLY say this one thing means suddenly we can do it." No, that doesn't work that way. You sound like a kid who asked his mom for a cookie from the cookie jar and she says yes, so you take three then go "What, you didn't SAY how many I could have." This falls under the fact of "Giving yourself and advantage over other players." Your argument "You get the same benefits if you are on this server" So if I shut my server down after a days hard work so noone can grief or get into my equipment, I shouldn't be blacklisted? That is absurd. I expect to be blacklisted in a heartbeat. Also, Them 'appearing' after my post, then disappearing a few minutes later clearly disproves that was a tab incident. But, that I can't prove because that's silly to screenshot, so you don't really need to believe it or not. I never said "My intelligence." I might have implied it. You have only made points based on how you 'feel' it should be because its worded in a way you can twist it to try to benefit your situation. You misunderstand what my Cup of Care comment means. Which it is meant to be misleading and that is understandable. However, my Cup of Care has nothing to do with Admin Abuse on US 1038. My few hours of speechlessness is because I was driving for six hours back to my home~. Noone saw me browsing the forums at this time to read replies. This is a discussion about the current rules and players being upset with mechanics of DayZ that DayZ doesn't control due to how Arma2 and Battleeye work. I believe ALL of us, Including Beans and Folic, agree there DEFINITELY needs to be more done to fix things. As I have stated several times in this thread I encouaged, agreed, and even backed off of some of my points because this was a discussion. I didn't see it as a debate. I find Beans and Folic very intelligent individuals and enjoyed talking to them I never ONCE said anyone should be a better admin. If anything, I said be patient and you WILL win this battle. Its a frustrating job to be an admin and to claim I don't feel that same frustration is bold faced lie. I have possibly been fucked pretty hard on things I wanted to do with the Servers I help admin but instead of complaining, I realized what I can, and cannot do. Yeah, I had to swallow a bitter pill. But I would rather SWALLOW the bitter pill then be BITTER at everyone else. I would rather encourage other admins on proper work-arounds on the current rules and explain to them to cover ALL there bases instead of reaching for the banhammer first at the first sign of danger. No admin should reach for the banhammer first.

About the Chopper - If there are multiple Choppers I can't just go "Lnxa, your Chopper is legit" because an individual can come on and claim the same thing against you and say yours isn't legit. It becomes a simple blaming game and from recent posts, despite what Ander has said this morning, have reported more than one Chopper on several servers. This might be a bug and should be reported. About the G36C - Finding a hacked item isn't grounds for banning. If you fire the weapon enough Battleeye does it for you. Finding it in a Tent or on a person doesn't exactly claim they hacked it in. It could mean a number of things, they found it in a tent/car or killed someone with it. That is like claiming if someone saw you with a G36C you brought back to a tent as 'proof' then killed you with it and reported it. If I just banned you on the spot for having it and not actually knowing where it came from (which I can't.) you would be pretty upset. Plus, DayZ frowns upon me just banning people. I have to gather up the information before banning someone and then do it.

Yes, this was posted this morning, beforehand it was not. Meaning if two choppers had spawned on the server, they can find them until they are destroyed or despawn. Meaning for the last, two days from the GIVE 0.7.2. there are potientally some servers that have up to three choppers until they go back into rotation.

This thread has nothing to do with a G36c. It has to do with a claim that you saw another chopper on the server.

Negative my good Sir. There can be up to three. Choppers have new spawn positions and mechanics. Just like there can be multiple types of the same car on the server, there can be multiple choppers because there are multiple spawns locations. This is what I have read from rather informed individuals, and seen several OTHER threads talking about servers with more than one Chopper. Its not isolated at all. Its just a bunch of people happy go lucky and excited with new toys like children. Now if its not the UH-1, I think is the name, then its hacked and we can discuss a ban.

Choppers are not hacked, they were readded with the recent 0.7.2. Update from the HIVE. I have read there can be up to three choppers per server.

There is no difference between shutting down a server and locking it. Both have the intention on protecting your loot and equipment. Which isn't allowed. I will show you a PM I had with Vipeax because unlike a lot of you people crying, I actually ask questions before making baseless statements and assumptions. Now, you wanna say its 'protecting against griefing and hacking' but every server has to deal with griefing and hacking, even mine do. I only SHUT them down when its a serious problem. Not to prevent people from being able to play on them. The servers soul purpose is to trade and protect loot. Which is not acceptable.

My clan has a couple of SVD's we might be willing to part with for the M4A1 SD. I lied. We don't actually anymore. We got rid of them. Sorry mate :c
