Random offtopic note, MP5 should be kept in the same damage, but cause targets to bleed easier and bones to break quicker. Bleeding and Broken Bones should also have stacking damage. More "Bleeds" up causes you to lose blood faster. More broken bones cause you to run slower, then crouch run slower, eventually leading to a slow crawl. Donno, just a random idea on the topic of realism and how it could be fun.

Yes, you also run slower. You don't lose stamina if you just jog, if you sprint (double tap W) you will run faster, but you will lose speed over time and to the point you will have to jog or stop to regain it back. Moving in any way shape or form decreases your auccracy for a short amount of time.

You have a stamina meter. You just can't see it.

I wonder if its something with battleye's attempt to deal with the influx of hacked vehicles. -Randomly chips in his thoughts.- If its happening with more than one car, not just choppers, then this definately sounds like a battleye trigger is not properly setup.

DayZ isn't realistic by far, but it has a realistic standard.The closest thing we have to realism in this game is time, food, drinks, and getting hit in the head is one of the few ways to instantly die. DayZ isn't fun? I don't know what game you guys have been playing, but I suggest changing up your playstyle if you aren't having fun. A sandbox zombie game like this leaves it up to you to play the way you want to play. If you aren't having fun, something is wrong with YOU, not the game. Everything you have listed is legit. Though, Rocket Launchers are currently broken.

Getting some users on my server also reporting it. It appears to be related to hackers and their recent mass spamming of spawned Helicopters. I think it has to do with people who were online during that incident. I would post about this in troubleshooting or post a support ticket to DayZ/Battleye. We as admins can't really fix this issue unless a new Battleye update is pushed out that resolves it. (Make sure all servers are running 1.67) verify your battleye versions and the server versions. I know some still run on 1.66 and this might be causing an issue.

As much as I would like to be able to just ban him. I need FRAPS proof of him doing it and to catch his name. Death Log through FRAPS would be your best bet. As anyone can say "I am this person." but really be lying to you so they avoid being banned. If he had any items also that might be questionable, which what you listed seemed legit, it will be harder to track him down.

Are you still experiencing this problem? Try respawning on a different server, move your position and then try to relog on our server. I take it you have done this already I hope.

As a server admin I also agree that being able to see everyone on the map can be abused way, way too easily. A lot of you guys are forgetting your actions on one server can be carried over to others. This is a big reason why we do not have that many permissions. DayZ staff can't even do some of the things you are suggesting. x3.

Map on means your blue dot appears on the map for yourself and only when others are close enough to you.

I strongly believe when we get around the curve of hackers, due to this game being a MOD, it is going to be a much more pleasant game Though, Most of my time is spent replying to the forums or playing DayZ. I potientally run into hackers maybe every other week. Sometimes twice in a row because they often come back for seconds. So, my time is roughly spent... 1/10th dealing with a hacker, 4/10ths replying to forums, 4/10th playing DayZ, 1/10th debating rules/posting about bugs. That is why I say its not as bad as CS:S... It maybe different for you as... I don't know what server you play on or admin. Mine are pretty popular and push 30-50 people daily. So I must either be doing something right, or hackers just like Resident Evil. Fuck if I know.

Had a wave of hackers roll through US128 and we had to do a sudden restart to clean up all the buildings and vehicles they had spawned. We apoligize for anyone who lost their equipment during this incident. We encourage all of our members to go and get a screen capture software. (Like FRAPS) and try to catch the person who is hacking through FRAPS. A name is needed however to go along with the FRAPS so we know who we are looking at to ban and send their GUID to Dev Staff. Regards, Ravin, Also, any tents lost in the incident should have been rolled back automatically due to the current DayZ problem with saving tents. So if a hacker demolished your campsite, its very likely back with the restart or next restart at.... 6am.

Yes. Though, our BEC is currently down due to some issue with a recent beta. The kick while idling for five minutes feature was going haywire and was constantly throwing people out. Someone even went as far to assume it was admin abuse. So we were forced to take it down for some tweaking. Server Restarts Every Six Hours. US128 will restart at midnight, 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. US167 will restart at 1am, 7am, 1pm, and 7pm. US302 will restart at 2am, 8am, 2pm and 8pm.

Admins have to purchase a program, like we use BEC for our server. It notifies users 15 minutes in advance. We also post the times as well as on our server thread, just incase it isn't working.
