Makarov. Good aim will win the 1v1 in close range. A few headshots and it doesnt even matter what gun the other guy had.

Its very accurate, the zero'ing helps for long range like 500 meters where other assault rifles would fail. Burst fire + proper zero'ing makes it useable for medium range.

Or you could actually start using your brain yourself to realise everyone in this thread already acknowledged it's an alpha. The reason we're complaining is because nothing is being done with the feedback. Proof = the time it's taking to fix the bugs since last patch. Proof nr2 = the fact that every patch brings new gamebreaking bugs. Inb4 you're not forced to play it. Bullshit argument since everyone knows 95% of the 1million+ people who bought arma2 did it for dayz. They should at least take on the responsibility to maintain said mod on a playable level. If you think the forum gets flooded with complaints atm, check again in a few months when the standalone is out which is still gonna be filled with bugs. Ill get my popcorn ready for that moment.

I respawned about 5 times today, each time i got geared up within 15 minutes because cherno/elektro is filled with pathetic dupers nowadays who have no clue how to use end game gear.

US 1079 for some reason this server is never getting populated, and its not because of the location since we had a previous server there which was always filled - very fast loading speed, very little lag ingame - up to date with dayz and arma files - no vehicle hoarders, hackers are banned instantly when admins are on(most of the time) what am i missing here?

are you launching through dayz commander?

Got the new bans.txt, createvehicle.txt, remoteexec.txt and scripts.txt and will be testing cheatfinder tonight.

I just noticed that you will get a battleye error when trying to connect through dayz commander, anyone know how to fix this? its server sided since i dont get this when connecting to other servers it has the following updates ARMA2 OA Build 95948 DayZ 1.7.2.5 + Hive 0.7.3 BattlEye Improved Security

i doubt people remember where they got hacked the day before, also most people dont have a homeserver, they just click a random server every time this should actually fix itself since less people on the server = a lot less chance to get hackers since they prefer full servers Dayz is only increasing.

A crashed heli has only 5 loot spots. Also one of those spots is a med/ammo box or trashy lootpile.
