Op - this won't change until they give the server owners the right to monitor and ban. Look on the bright side though, at least you aren't a loser who needs to cheat at a poor fps.

My evolved response to friendly ... I run away saying I am sure he is honest but can't risk it or I blow him away if he approaches me and I can't get away. Stay still, no threatening Moves, keep cool and we can be friends. Anything else and no deal.

Ive been playing this game for 6 weeks now. In that time I never just outright killed someone - just luck of the draw until Friday. I do the sneaky crouch shuffle that sounds like a 747 landing at Balota and do my Crazy Ivan (sudden back turn from movie Hunt for Red Oct.) For once I catch a guy trying to do me in with an axe. Here's the funny part - I am holding an fully loaded shotgun which at that distance would put him down. One shot - I hit him. He turns with blood gushing, still holding the axe above his head, and tries to run away. I shoot again but my hand twitches from 1 too many fps on the gravis and I miss. So, I stop for a second and think (this is not a good idea). Do I reload? Do I take out my axe? Hah, my fair play button gets pushed so I take out my axe. By now the guy realizes I am not going to shoot him, he turns, and rushes me - axe still high in the air. We do the circle of death which as I go out of my way to kill zombies in the least amount of time with one blow I have some practice with now, and eventually chop him down. My first kill. And he was a bandit scumdog, so I can feel good about it. I even was fair in the end, though I resolved not to do THAT again. Why did he try to do what he did with the odds against him? I dunno, but I had helmet, full military clothes... he had to know I was going to get the chance to blow his face off at close range with a shotgun... Crazy person #1 right there. But then, 24 hours later, after weeks of being abused by rubber banding scumdogs with fully automatic Gauss rifles, I encounter a guy on the stairs in the admin tower in Novo. I was loud, running down the stairs, but with my ak101 and 4 full clips of ammo I didn't give a fig. Go ahead, surprise me, I turn you into swiss cheese (or not). So here comes crazy #2, holding an axe above his head, in PAINFULLY slow motion as he tip toes up the stairs at me... wtf? I had time to be confused. Unfortunately my talk key was 100' across the keyboard but my hold breath button was under my thumb on the Gravis... so I hit him with 1/4 of the 30 round mag. He kept coming, like a slug on meth. I unload most of the mag on him. Nothing, he keeps coming. wtf? I unload the rest as he is almost at the top of the stairs thinking I have a cheater or someone lagging at 200+ on the server... he finally goes down. In his backpack is 1 beer, and I feel shame. Son of a $#@#! 2 Crazies in 2 days. None in 6 weeks. So I ask, is this some sort of holiday for nutters? You have to be to rush a guy with a fully loaded killing machine and lots of armor when all you have is an axe.

That's a bingo! But to be fair a bambi with a backpack and no weapons ran past me with a zombie on his tail and I almost took him out... But I did the zombie instead. And I took damage. Yes, slowly but surely my nice level is being replaced by cold steely resolve to shoot first and let the spawn point sort them out. Dark side, I hear your voice calling me...

If you remove the zombies you have one of the worst fps games on the market. I don't even like the game now but I tell myself "Alpha, zombies will be better, they are working on all those bugs, etc." Point blank, if this game doesn't improve and include zombies... I will not waste my precious time on this planet playing the game because it ain't that good to begin with.

Inventory stops me dead as well. That is right up there with the insane aggro zombie (this is pinball game stupid) that catches up with me right when I stop, wait for a while, then drink or eat. This stuff needs fixing because it hurts the logic center of my cranium.

I am on the fence with much of this. I prefer the AK101, but finding ammo or even mags for it... harder than the others. 2nd would be the AKM, but I find way more 101's. I've yet to find an M4. On handguns, the 357 and its ammo is so common I like it. The Makharov... after weeks I found my first magazine for it today. I have fairly good luck finding 1911s, the clips and the ammo for them, so that is my norm. I've never found the FNX kit all at the same time, so I have no yardstick for that. The longhorn is a pain to reload... just not practical. Bolt action stuff is good for a change and when I do this it is LR kit on the mosin and I snipe people at the high loot spots. I seem to annoy them though none have died from it.

A long time ago I decided it was a waste of time trying to describe light to someone who is blind. If you Don't get it so be it. But please Don't put anyone down because they can see what you clearly can not. That would be ignorant.

Server: experimental 1pp southwest 0-4 Map Area: northeast to central coast So, sure we have had more zombies, and on servers that have spawn issues so you can't even find a rag that can be a bad thing. I love the more zombies BUT, last night, woah... I run through the small coastal town east of Berinzino to my apple orchard w/ water well. I get some aggro zeds, more than usual, but I run around and lose them. I eat my apples, drink some water... slow start for a new spawn on low/no loot server but I like a challenge. Then I do the same in the town east of the lumber mill... pick up 1, 2, 3, 4 zeds.... Hmm, more than usual but I run around and lose them. Or think I lose them. I run into the lumber mill area, pick up 1, 2, 3 zeds... so I run back to do the ditch, and what happens but all the rest come running in as well. I do the circling ax murder sequence to nail most - get some lag hits which add up - start to bandage up and get two more zeds running at light speed that are on me before I can finish. I think that makes 9 zeds at that point... I run around, ax to the head, down they go, start to bandage and viola another zed on me before I can finish. Was it just coincidence combined with non-stealthy impatience (all my doing), or did the zed and the zed aggro go up again (change in server environment?) I actually died from the blood loss after my final encounter with three more of the bastards soon after. Imagine that, in a zombie game. I hope this is the way of things moving forward on all servers!

I don't play the part of a bandit and probably never will, but I respect where you are coming from on this. You got tired of the being beaten by a game that rewards bandits and became one. You let the meek go, but come down on the heavy hitters, but don't go out of your way to kill them. I can respect your POV. What I hate are the ones who kill the Bambis for a can of beans. I don't know why they even play this game.

It is humor. I used to think he was being mean to people with less than perfect English but now I know it is light hearted satire. Now when I pass a pig I stop and smile for a second, all because of shrub. Sniff. :D Then I blow it away and use its entrails to play jump rope, but still...

I want them to fix core mechanics first. More diversity in zeds vs. they don't hit you when they are facing away or to the side.... more important?

My first guess would be spectrum disorder of some type, they mentioned aspergers... I never met him so couldn't say, but fits the profile. Non violent, let the poor guy live away from people. I don't know how a judge can impose "socilaization" on him. With the surprising # of holes around us at any given moment, just let him live alone, and in peace.

I agree with this 100%. Last night I noticed an uptick on speed, quantity, their eyesight (LOL!!!) More zombies, less eyesight, more smell maybe... IDK. but it sure was refreshing to worry more about zeds than humans at that point. Before it was more like - "Oh, a zombie, but is there a 10 year old bandit behind him? XO"

I wake day every eat bacon kiwi look like egg powdered milk. Tactical bacon carb heavy no want fat in gorka pants must be pig. One day pig show me am when I can find not knife . I call pig friend give him raincoat and backpack. We travel many towns and have many laugh. Then one surprise on barn stairs and pig say keg pain dead. Now no friend to play days.

This is not new and I have read many a post on it in the past but this is the 2nd time it bit me and I am annoyed (for the next 5 minutes). I was on experimental southwest 0-8 or 0-4, 1st person, and the same damn stairs in the same damn barn in the row of structures between cherno and electro... start going up the west staircase to the third level (ledge) and wham, pain in leg, you are dead. This happened weeks ago to me at the exact same spot and I thought I got ambushed. Devs - One big suggestion. Let us know EXACTLY how we died so we can bug report better. Help us help YOU. I am not talking a kill cam, just more info. If I am naked and I get killed by a pair of pink socks hey, maybe that might be a problem you need to fix. I can't tell you if I don't know why. I suspect many deaths have been due to bugs and people just assumed they got ambushed. This one? This was a bug.

So I bury my ax in a zombie's brain raging with a highly contagous zombie virus then I eat beans off it. Yeah... Sure. Tps reports anyone?

I have had the same problem on all the southwest experimental servers. I went through entire towns without finding anything, even went out a few hundred yards and waited a few minutes and came back... only to find nothing. The constant toon resets are annoying as well. If you do manage to find a few items laying around over two hours of hunting it blows to log out because you need to do something else for 1/2 an hour and don't want to leave your toon up, only to log in to respawn. And I do wait to ensure I had no aggro zeds or sneaky players closing on me late. They listed a bug for this but the system won't let me log in to vote, and yes I made another account for that.

Playing 4 different experimental servers very little loot. Not non-existent, but scarce to the point it is stupid.

My toon got trapped on the top of the building in rog with the scaffolding up one side. I could get over the parapet but not back out.
