You are kidding ? :lol: TSW anti-hack has many good uses, stopping scripters isn't one of them. It's as good as stopping scripters as you are of spelling guarding :p

They are not hackers :lol: people use that term far too much, they are scripters cause that is what ArmA was designed for, the game and addons run on scripts. In Dayz you don't want these scripts to run so BatlEye attempt to block them, in most cases BE does a decent job but it's a cat and mouse game, scripts get blocked so new ways are found until that gets blocked. No harm can happen to your PC playing Dayz :) the only time you're at risk is if you download something dodgy from a website claiming it boosts performance or gives better frames etc There is no magic fix, plenty of forum posts here will show you how to optimise your settings but ArmA is very CPU heavy and most processors struggle.

Making progress at least, your ArmA install is all up to date at least, as is the beta-patch. So yeah, join a server and sit in the lobby unti you see all the BattlEye stuff showing it's working. Good luck.

Run the game using the Operation Arrowhead shortcut, on the main screen there will be a version number in the bottom right hand corner, what version do you have ? Don't use Playwithsix to launch, run OA by itself. I think you're game is outdated, version number will confirm this and then we can point you in the right direction.

You need to wait in any servers lobby, the lobby is where you see the list of players before you connect. You should first see a message saying server computed GUID and then 16 numbers/letters, then wait and wait until BE says it's up to date with version 1.2xx (forgot the exact numbers) and then join :)

Follow the advice SmashT gave you, because you have a disc version you must update it using the link he provided, then launch both games, not the mod but actully ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead once until you get to the main menu. Then run the top 2 installs on Dayz commander, 1st is the ArmA version, quite misleading cause it's a beta-patch not a game update, the 2nd is the Dayz mod, anything after is optional.

No reason it shouldn't work, it's just a mod like Dayz, make sure to include it in your launch parameters.

I hate walking and we spend 90% driving, quicker and easier to drive but everyone plays differently :) To me they're important You should of been here when it first launched, It's a million miles better and to me it's stable, I can play it and i know the limits of the ArmA engine, I know what will kill me and what most likely won't. It's been a long long time since a bug killed me, I can enjoy many hours playing and i'm happy with it.

Vehicles ? :p already confirmed as absent from the initial release, I'd call them planned features, guess my statement was true.

The SA will be buggy as hell when released and missing planned features, the mod is perfectly stable and playable with plenty servers to choose. Buy both, you'll get your moneys worth and BIS are worth supporting :) Some of the new ArmA 3 mods require you to have ArmA 2 content as well, Zoombies for example.

You're not banned :) The admin obviously hasn't got his BE filters setup correctly, just rejoin, it's fine and nothing to worry about.

You need to change the registery entry that stores your old key, if not then you'll still be using the old key with a new steam account. I can see both accounts getting banned here, you still haven't said how you lost your old key either.

Why were you banned ? If you have any hacks or key stealing.exe files on your PC your friends key will be stolen as well. I'd do a full system check, If you can't do that then i would do a reinstall. You could end up having to buy 2 OA keys if you're not careful.

They won't have a budget for TV adverts, all the income will come from us regular players :) Unless someone brings out a better mod for ArmA 3 and us regular players find something new to play, SA release takes any longer then i can see this happening. There's already 1 mod released for Altis and another planned for release soon :o

Report him to the server admin with the name of the player and time it happened, It's all logged so he can read that part and take action :)
