    BattlEye not responding could be many things, sometimes it just happens and other times it's fine. I normally sit in the server lobby until i see BattlEye showing that it is up to date with the correct version. If you don't see that have a look in your firewall or anti-virus logs, now and then it can be blocked so BattlEye really isn't responding as it was blocked.

    Messages is to add sceduled messages, Pretty sure it doesn't work very well though.

    If you're starting the server then you must have admin rights ? If so check the RPT logs :) It will show you everything

    For server side scripting and mission editing you want to be at opendayz.net, You'll find so many helpful posts over there for customizing your Dyaz server.

    Is this a real server in a data center or have you used a spare PC ? If you used a PC and are sharing the internet connection you will have a very low ping

    Ignore it :) As said it's just a script kiddie sending messages server side, your files, game and PC are fine.

    Steam > Game > right mouse click > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache

    Did you install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 x86 Redistributable before setting up your server ? msvcp100.dll is part of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 x86 Redistributable and that is also a requirement for setting up the server.

    @ bluhoney - Yep it's frightening isn't it :( every server has custom this and custom that. When i ran my dayz server i added 50 AI bots and my server load went from a nice 20% to almost 100% The lag/desync was terrible so i removed some until i had a balance :) The problem is what do Dayz.st do about it ? remove access would upset some people but how do you educate people to do things sensibly ? Most probably won't care either and this won't be a Dayz.st only problem, most hosts offer access to files so this will happen everywhere you go unless you go dedicated.

    The lag and desync are most likely caused by CPU spikes, Dayz.st will know better and have logs. The problem isn't caused by what you're doing, It's more likely caused by the neighbours/other players on that server :( Recently there have been a huge explosion of custom everything :( Custom loadouts won't matter but how many are adding in AI or NPC ? R.J server shows all these other servers playing and almost all have custom changes, see here > http://arma2.swec.se/server/data/340230

    Combined Operations if all you need :) It's Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead rolled in to 1 Where did it install on your PC ? a screen shot will do and i'll help you get things working :) I'm still confused what you have, 1 post mentions you have the disk and another you say you downloaded it ? If it's on disk you can just install it from disk but if you downloaded it you're going to need to use Steam to activate it. More info and we can help :D you can never post too much info ...

    Install steam on the other PC and then login, Steam will send you an email with a verification code so you can add it as a trusted machine. Download the games again and play :) Just remember to uninstall or remove your account details when you go back home :P

    Personally i never liked Gotcha, It has far too many false positives and never once did me any good. I found Dart and TSW to be all i needed :) but stuff like this is for a new post as it's not really Dayz.st related.

    Then it's a fault with Gotcha and not with Dayz.st, Try asking in the Gotcha forums. If you couldn't connect at all then speak with Dayz.st but because it isn't working isn't something Dayz.st can fix.

    Dayz.st servers are setup to support Gotcha, what error do you get ? Other Admin tools worth having is Dart or TSW

    If you installed it from disk the path will be similer to this depending on what HDD you use C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead Make sure you have the 1.62 game update from here > http://www.arma2.com/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&Itemid=20&id=803%3Aarma-2-combined-operations--operation-arrowhead--reinforcements-patch-1〈=en Also before you try to play Dayz you Must load up ArmA 2 and start 1 game, I think it's so ArmA automatically makes the profile config stuff but don't quote me on that. Dayzcommander will download the beta-patch and Dayz files for you
