Contact BattlEye and see if you can get a temp ban before the other person gets the key blocked :) They might do it and it's worth a try. You might also want to check your PC to make sure their key stealing program is gone and never left any hidden back doors, reinstall windows if you really have to. You might get lucky but probably not :P you did a silly thing

Dayz Origins can go fuck themselves, money hungry greedy bastards. They are making a profit from using the Dayz code and other peoples mods and scripts, code that was wrote by the community and released for free and if anyone tries to use the Taviana map they are threatend with being sued and issued a DMCA. They refuse to release the server files, only so called official partners can host them and to be official you pay them shit loads of cash :( You might want to read up on who you're actully supporting, although it wouldn't shock me if you were a paid spammer.

Try opendayz.net :) It's an exellent site full of scripting guides and other server addons -
There is a script that allows you to lock a vehicle, only you the owner would be able to access it :D Just don't ask where to find it, i've honestly forgotton where i got mine and now my server only runs ArmA 3 so i couldn't even send you my files.

You need Operation Arrowhead to play Dayz, but to use OA you must have Arma 2 (free edition works)

They spawn inside of the SUV, finding them anywhere is very rare

Did you get an email from them saying the server is active ? I've used SS in the past and you get the server info straight away but until they do the setup you can't play. Do you have an email from them titled " Welcome to Survival Servers. Your server is now active! "

Make people aware of your server by advertising it :) Nothing to tacky but just a well worded invitation to the community. Post it where Dayz players will see it, dayzmod.com - opendayz.net - tunngle.net - reddit.com etc Once you get around 10 + players it will look more appealing to others in the server browser list You could also get a forum :) It shows the community you're commited to offering a better experience Teamspeak servers are good to talk with your community

Try joining an official server :) No loot or zombies happens when private server admins add scripts badly, usually it's the debug monitor or AI/NPC

What you using the launch the game ? I get this and never bothered fixing it cause i can use dayzcommander for Dayz and Six for my Arma games :) Granted it's not a fix but a workaround is just as good. What server hoster can run DayzEpoch

It's easier on a windows 2008 R2 server but possible with linux, if you're confident enough with linux. Just make sure you get a decent processor with the highest frequency possible, 2-3 GB Ram is enough and between 1-2 TB bandwidth. -

None that i can think of, most hosts won't offer them until dayzcommader offer the files but dayzcommander won't host the files until there is a demand :lol: catch-22 Your best option is probably to get a windows VPS or dedi and install it yourself :) -
How do I go about buying a server? (I'm new to this so go easy)

I've used Dayz.st in the past and never had any issues :) Look through the list of server providers and choose one that suits your needs. What you want to do is possible with the access you get with Dayz.st, obviously you have to the custom changes but plenty of places around to show you. Good luck -

Stuttering framerates just happen :) It could be lag from an overloaded server, It could be your location because i get a massive drop in FPS when in cities, It could be a poorly coded server if it has custom loadouts/modifications, It could be anything .... Search the forum for guides on optimising your game settings :) It might help but it's not guaranteed sorry
