    As i said before, Show me proof :) Joining any server does not pose a risk to yourself, the only way you can lose your key is by installing dodgy software.

    No it's not possible, Show me proof :P I ran a server for months and the only info you see on players are their IP address and GUID, Nothing that could steal your key.

    I like this post :) Most won't give you a second look though, you're new here and your only 1 post is to advertise your server. Good luck to you and also props for adding contact info, I would never settle on a server where there was no contact info.

    You might want to put some effort in your advert :P There are so many servers available that players are spread thin, convince the community why your server is best :)

    They have banned thousands of IP addresses in error and won't fix it, they had issues with spammers and went way OTT banning entire IP ranges.

    You are joking aren't you ? very hard to tell if you're being serious. i would take a stab at .... No You can't seriously expect Dayz.st to store all your files and settings for months just incase you come back, do you have any idea how much space would be required to store all the data from past customers.

    Yes it's ban worthy, anything that interferes with your game is ban worthy. and by forcing you to listen/dance to Gangnam style i'd have him executed :o He crossed the line with that.

    Running your own server allows you to play the game how you want it :) You can choose to personalise everything or not ... It gives you freedom. On the other hand it's hard work and can be a right pain in the arse :lol: For me it's worth the effort but some admins have regretted it. Most servers these days are month to month contracts, try it and decide after 4 weeks.

    The mod will still be played for months :) When the SA is released it will be in an Alpha stage and contain very little of what the finished game will eventully have.

    Have you paid them ? :) Send them some money and they'll do anything. Unlike all the other mods that spun off from Dayz, Origins is designed solely to make money.

    TSW anti-hack tool will work for that, you can set the dome to only allow certain GUID or humaity levels to enter the dome, anyone else gets teleported at another location of your choosing. TSW website is > http://thesilentwarrior.com/tsw/

    Did you set the server up yourself or rent slots from a host ? If you setup the server yourself then look for the server config file, example http://community.bis...wiki/server.cfg It's the same file you used to name your server, the name that shows in the MP list :) Admin password is usually 2 or 3 lines below that. *EDIT* Hang on :P I've seen you asking for help elsewhere and it was your kids that changed the password ? The password isn't a default password, you were silly enough to let your kids change it :rolleyes: Get them to fix it

    I am not new to gaming or the modding community :) Look at all the maps, mods and addons available for Dayz or even Arma, show me another that is designed purely for profit and copyrighted.

    Nope i just can't stand the way that mod is ran sold, they are using code, scripts and modifications that the community wrote and released for free in the Origins mod, they are now making huge profits from other peoples work. You also have to be careful about what you say or do with Origins, they have actully copyrighted the Origins mod and will sue anyone who tries to do anything with it :( bunch of 2 faced money grabbing shits This is the DMCA take down notice they issued to Opendayz.net http://pastebin.com/umU8840G

    Does this look like the Dayz Origins support site or is this for the official Dayz mod ? :P Why not go find the Origins site ? Offer them money and they will bend over and let you do ANYTHING :lol: Seriously there is nothing they won't do for some green stuff. When do find them, tell them i wish they all had Aids :)

    When i had my Dayz.st server i had no issues at all :) I have nothing but praise for them I'm also not the only person otherwise Dayz.st wouldn't have thousands of servers, Try them and see what you think for a month. It's shared hosting and the same as all other companies, For $30 i think it's exellent value for money but you can always shell out for a dedicated server ? good luck getting a windows license for less than $30 though, and then the server rental, bandwidth and time setting everything up. You get what you pay for :P

    Again the invisible gun points to it being an rMod server :) Download rMod and join the server again, You will see everything properly then. Rmod can be downloaded here http://offgaming.us/rmod/download Remember to launch with -mod=@rmod2 Nothing to do with security :P It's an addon ran server side, up to you if you use it or not, that is how ArmA is designed to run :)

    Happy to help :) The vanishing bodies i never encountered but i've seen others have, keep reading the 1st link i sent and see if the fix was found. I no longer host a Dayz server so i didn't keep up to date with the thread, I don't think Sycosis is still supporting it either.

    I also think rMod is involved, when i ran an rMod server players without rMod can still join but won't see the unbanned vehicles. If you are sitting in an unbanned vehicle you will see the player but not the vehicle.

    rMod is to unlock weapons and vehicles, It has nothing to do with adding NPC Follow this guide and you should be fine > http://opendayz.net/threads/simple-ai-tutorial-no-rmod-or-dayz_factions.8106/ If you want a more complicated but better AI including with heli patrols you can try this > https://github.com/Swiss-Sarge/SAR_AI I used both but it's up to you what you want :) Good luck
