Have a look in 'My Documents' for a folder name ArmA 2 - inside there you will have 2 files named 'ArmA2.cfg' and ArmA2OA.cfg' open them with any text editor (notpad, wordpad etc) and change the following values (change to suit your screen resolution and refresh rate). Make a backup just incase you made a mistake :) Good luck * EDIT * Changed to quote tags as code looks ugly

It's been a long time since i messed with the editor, I used the database way as it found it easier, i only added a few. -
No, a long time back it was patched so tents only go up on grass. Also the drilling platforms are buggy as hell, getting on is easy but off requires a helicopter. There is only loot on the .eu version of Tavi, now known as Origins

You can add them if you know the class name :) have a look at the Object Library Also This post is full of class names for everything :) -

We have camps to re-equip after death :) Before a battle we stock up so we are ready to take on others, pointless if you don't have blood bags and ammo. -
If this is the case then surely you can't be banned :unsure: running downloaded .exe files is obvious but losing a key through interacting with other players is part of the game. You should report this to BattlEye asap :)

Taviana is odd, some buildings are part of Arma and are server side, some are part of the tavi mod and are client side. You notice these when you load up the editor, half the buildings are missing. -

No mention of what map :P Chernarus is the most polished and gives you the best FPS but some places/buildings cause frame drops. Other maps are not as well wrote and performance suffers. Overloaded servers will also affect performance and other factors, welcome to ArmA :) -
I don't think you can filter by shared or private hives, most good private hives have a website with info about the server. Personally i find a server i like and stay on it :) no need to server hop so shared hives make no difference.

Hives are the databases, some are shared so what you have on one can be transferred to the other, private are private so what happens on that server stays on that server. Vanilla means it's how the game is released, plain :) most private servers have added modifications such as strip vehicle parts, self blood bag, hundreds of extra vehicles etc

A clue to what server you mean would be handy :) There are thousands of servers, even the all knowing all seeing mods are not mind readers :P

DZC works fine for me, I can update the beta-patch and any of the mods. Might be worth looking at the DZC forums and see if anyone there can help.

I'm out of options but hopefully my bump will alert someone :) I still think it's the HDD as we ruled out temp, ArmA puts a lot of strain on the disk and could be what crashes the system.

Delete them and redownload them ? bit more info would help :) Filters can be found Here! but some are mod specific.

TSW is good for vehicle spawning and repair/refueling :) that was all DieselWeasel needed so anything more is a bonus. If the host have a good panel then great but options are handy to have.

You should buy the SilentWarrior anti-hack, It has a similer spawn feature to dayz.st :) Click anywhere on the map and spawn a vehicle, it also has options to remove broken vehicles and vehicles that haven't been used in a few days. It's cheap and info can be found here > http://thesilentwarrior.com/tsw/ Works with ANY host that uses Bliss/reality, It doesn't support every map though. It's also an anti-hack program so it monitors for teleporting and scripting :)

How do I downgrade in Dayz Version code? Commander

Go to Install/Update and change the Dayz version from 1.7.7 to 1.7.6.1 and then press install :) It will download the older version. You do also have the option to do it manually without DZC, If you're unsure i'll explain. All your posts seem to bash Dayz, If you don't like it you could always fuck off and annoy others ? :)
