Hoarding is more or less end-game content, if you take that away more pointless PK'ing will arise.

It seems to be zero'd in on atleast 1km. I was aiming at someone's head from about 15m distance with a M4A3 CCO, emptied a mag , and not a single bullet hit. I did kill his buddy ,but that's because I was shooting at his chest. Yes,I did die. Yes, I am mad.

I love the idea and I myself can think of many additions to it, but unfortunately modifying terrain is impossible as of now,as is adding a loadable area, as far as I know.

Rather than waiting for a new patch I recommend downloading 1.7.0, it's the best build to play on up until now, also having quite some servers running it. There should be some info around on how to install it.

No one is here to "test." People bought Arma 2 OA to get dayZ and have FUN. And if there's a bug that interferes with their fun, they report it, which is in fact testing. The latest updates have screwed the game over. The zombies are way too OP now, servers are crashing all the time, items are disappearing. Each new update "adds a feature" that ends up breaking everything that was working up until now. Imo Rocket should concentrate on fixing the existing bugs, before adding something that will create many new ones. The whole thing is going downhill, and with the community already halfway in the shitter, things are not looking up. If somebody notices a bug or a broken game mechanic and makes a post about it, i.e zeds r OP plz fix nao, all he gets for replays is some retards pasting in their "This is an alpha,you are here to test/It's not a bug, it's intended you useless carebear/hurr durr l2p" copypasta, which isn't helping and is annoying the fuck out of everyone.

I was checking out NWA for the 2nd time,since it was a low pop night server I made the stupid mistake of running in the open. Suddenly I can hear a shot in the distance and lo and behold I'm on the ground and bleeding out.When I got back up from being knocked out I ran the frick inside a building and bandaged myself. I had 30 blood left. Had to take it really slowly and had alot of situations where I passed out in a close proximity to zeds. Eating beans has brought me back up to ~3k blood. I managed to kill a goat and grab some raw meat, but since I didn't have matches I had to run all the way back to cherno, in pitch black, to cook my meat at one of the hobo barrels. After having myself a delicious diné I grabbed some medical supplies and ran north of Stary Sobor. I went back to the NWA, having a couple of encounters with the zeds, bringing my blood back down to 5,5k. I proceeded to loot the NE barracks. Suddenly I can hear someone sneaking in. I turn around and empty my mag at the person crouching near the entrance to one of the rooms. We ended up killing eachother. I ran the frick back to the NWA following roads, aggro'ing alot of zeds and killing them with my newfound aks, that I looted in a deerstand not far off my path. I got both his and my stuff. Including an m4a1 CCO , hunting equipment, rangefinder, gps, alot of ammo, food, and an Alice backpack. This character is still alive and well.

The version you have (1.6) is the version of Arma. If you want to play on 1.6.##### servers you have to download the newest beta patch, which is pretty buggy imo. Most servers have their dayz version shown in their names. ( As far as I can tell ) Dayz has backwards compatibility so you can play on 1.7 servers even if you have 1.7.1 or 1.7.1.1 , if you have the newest beta patch though, it will kick you if you try to join servers that don't have it , giving you the error message "Kicked: Battleye script restriction #16." I recommed sticking with the earlier beta patches (Personally, I am using 935##.)
