Patience is a snipers greatest gift. Plus descreetness is life saving. Means a serious sniper will not reveal his spots. But you just may watch some youtube and you will find poeple showing their places, which does not mean that they did not wait there for 50 min before the recording started.. If you want quick action, you better drop the mosin, grab an SKS and head NEAF.. Lol, so you wan't a spot where you are totally safe plus have 20 players per hour passing that are easy kills? I don't know. Maybe rethink what you ask for 'cause you won't get it ;) That's the point of sniping. Get teammate who will back you up is the only option to avoid this. Plus double the Alt Key, so you don't move while looking around, what reveals you.

Yeah the handcuff thing. Sorry, i was to this moment not aware that you die when you log out handcuffed. Anytime i was cuffed i was shot anyways :D And with PVE i meant Roleplay. Sorry, I mix them up sometimes, since their just both no PVP and Roleplay seems to happen more on a PVE.

Since they'd want to keep the victim alive it would be a problem if he'd just logged out... You don't notice a charakter logging off instant. I met a newspawn with my full equipped friends. We killed the 4 zombies he dealt with and offered him food and bandages. All of a sudden he was gone... I think he did not trust us. So if the bandits come to be in a fight and put the victim in a house they would constantly need one of them to check him not logging off eg by commands to move to the right and left or he'll just be gone. I think this is a good reason it does not happen. Maybe on a PVE Server the victim will stay online and play his part. Interesting idea btw.

It's about helping players and not kill them for fun. The words if chose have nothing to do with being polite. Name it harsh. I'm ok being harsh as long as i'm polite.

Because they suck at everything. From moving to scanning to shooting. If they can't look around corners and snipe from the top of buildings without showing themselves they would not do a single kill. It is obvious that their lack of skill and missing balls makes them pretend 1st person would somehow be buggy, inbalanced and shitty... The fact that the people on hardcore servers are better players and have way more polite personalities has a simple reason: there are barely kids around.

I walked into the police station in Berezino as a totally new spawn. I got a shot in the back but did not die nor fall to the ground. So I walked over to where the shot came from and told the guy he shall finish his job if his passion is to kill new spawns. He gave me rags and food, excused for shooting but he was so excited and full of fear that he just shot as he saw something move. Well Yoda is just right. "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." My first kill in this game too happened just because i feared my opponent who actually seemed to be a nice guy. But I changed and decided to walk the Light Side. I have way more fun now. Most time I'm busy hitting my voice button while the others just start shooting. But it's worth to not give up hope. There ARE friendly people in the game. And sooner or later you will meet them. Plus killing a guy who opened fire while you try to talk and be a friendly survivor is a very nice thing. It too depends somehow on which servers you play. I figuered out some that work for me and put them in the favourits. Did you try an PVE server? There are always people ignoring the server rules but some don't. Those you have to find! Hardcore servers are somehow more friendly, too (in my opinion).

To stay in a place for 10 min or longer is not camping in my opinion. When I'm on the top floor of the hospital and one enters the building I for sure don't run down, I wait for him upstairs. Maybe you do it for 10 min. But there are seriously people who don't do anything else the whole day. Do your banking while playing, yeah. Cool story. Learn to do one thing and do it right. <_<

When I'm out solo I just avoid places like that. Maybe take a look from the distance with the Mosin and try to kill a camper when he's just about to close the door again after looting a sad victim (maybe you?). But most time I just go to the forest, hunt some deer and do that manly Putin stuff, riding bears and so on... ;) If you walk solo, keep your head down. When I'm in group, things change alot. There is a good chance to wipe the camping team if you play in team and don't mess up your shots. Have one of you head to the building and open the door. Prepare to snipe the guy lying on the floor just next to the stair or the guy on the stairs. Just don't mess up this shots or your front line buddy may die fast ;) There is also a way into the ATC over the ladder. Of course they hear you climbing up. But if you time it right with your team, so that you enter the top stairs (the ones you can shoot through in your back) shorty after the rest of your team opened the door downstairs, the campers will panic 'cause they already lost a guy to the Mosin and now are dangered by two sides. (The guy coming from the top should get very quick updates of the players location from his buddies or he will just die on the stairs). These campers are just funny guys. They sometimes light flares inside the building to attrackt players. Maybe a new player is running like "WTF is that red lightning? Maybe the ZombieWitchMaster in there? I'll check that out. Dead." If you have the time to play and camp the ATC for 3 hours until one arrives, you may have way too much time or it does not take alot to entertain you. Skippin school, no friends? I don't know. But I know that most campers are kids who want easy kills because they lack skill. So like the others wrote before me: Let them wait. If they lie on the floor in the ATC for 6 hours, they will get bored of the game and quit or come out and walk around. Then they are an easy target for you, 'cause they are only trained in guaranteed shots on the same spot but have no clue what to do in another area or the open field ;)

I just killed a guy with my Mosin and picked up his SKS as 2nd weapon. Few minutes later I detect that I can't shoot his SKS. It's all fine with it, weapon, Ammu, Scope, all prestine. I just could not shoot it. I wondered if it was a hacker? But who would hack a SKS if he can have an AKM or M4? Because before I killed him, he shot at me covering in defense. In 3rd camera control it was absolute impossible he could see me but he shot exactly at the point I was hiding (aimbot?) Nevermind. I came out of cover and landed a good shot on him.

I killed a guy with a shot from the Mosin in the stomach. It happened since the last patch, so maybe your opponent wore a vest? Or you hit him in the back(pack)? I'm not quite sure about this but I have something in mind that it may make a difference if there are items in the clothing. Protector case and matchbox eg should absorbe some dmg while a rag for sure will not (correct me if I'm wrong at this)

Hey there, within which range will players notice me typing? I just got a "put your stuff down or I kill you RIGHT NOW" message. I wonder if it has been meant for someone else but i could not see anyone around. Plus no one shot when I headed my way. Is it reaching people over a distance like the voice chat or is it a wider range?

You just deleted your old whining post and copy pasted it with a new title. Answer's still the same. Explore the north of the map or run from your spawning in Svetlo down to Elektro gear up and wonder why there's no other player around. Jesus, please leave me the server you play on so I can take you out when my way bring's me back south.

Then give us a WW2 bipod. Actually it is possible to shoot the Mosin with a bipod (does not have to be the atlas bipod). But hitting a moving target with the earthquake aiming is just luck. Pure luck. And I don't like luck. And I don't want to camp around and shoot people standing still when bandaging themselves or drinking from the pond. That is lame and mean ;)

If you really want to combine the mosin with the atlas bipod you will combine it. Therefore I think it's very bad to remove the option just 'cause the mosin does not have a rail -_- I want to make my own bipod so with 2 sticks and the rope. I mean, i even would not care if it's not attached to the weapon with the rope. Sure it will bump off the primitive sticks construction when i shoot but therefore the one shot has a higher accuracy.
