Hit detection will eventually be fixed and working properly. Adding body armor would be fine. It'll likely be buggy as hell when it is first implemented, but that is to be expected. We'll have to find out the bugs so the devs can fix them. And as others stated, even heavy torso armor won't help you if you take a Mosin shot to the face. Armored dudes should be harder to kill than regular survivors, but by no means will they be invincible. Especially considering many people will equal being armored to being bulletproof, and thus be less cautious. And to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't even mind having the possibility of running into some kind of heavily armored psychopath. Even like the Juggernaut suit from CoD. Provided they will be just under unicorns and leprechauns in terms of rarity. Imagine, some rage-fueled crazy dude in clad armor rampaging through Berezino, gunning down everything that moves until he goes down in a hail of bullets.

Yeah, attach a LRS to a gun with some duct tape and see how well that works out for you :P

So today I discovered that if you keep following the power lines heading west from Novodmitrovsk eastern gas station, you'll eventually reach a patch of trees where the lines just suddenly stop. I should go back to using proper maps...

Has anyone recently had zombies not notice them no matter how close or loud you are? Yesterday I was passing through Gorka, ran around a corner and bumped into a regular zombie. I quickly pulled my axe to kill it, but it didn't seem to notice me even though I was standing right in front of it. I ran some circles around it, punched it in the head, and still nothing. So I killed it and moved on. The other Gorka zombies were acting as usual. Some time later I was in Novy Sobor, when I saw a zombie standing in a field, no more than 50-60 yards away. Figuring I'd test my PUS SKS I tried to headshot it but instead hit it in the shoulder. Again the zombie just stood there. It didn't acknowledge the hit or the sound of the gunshot. So I moved closer and shot past it, no reaction. So I went up, punched it in the head, and nothing.

Ah... well, my own triangle of death is Balota-Elektro-NWAF. Since most military grade loot spawns there, most players I encounter there are the trigger-happy geared-up kind. I'd say 70% of the times I was PKed was in that area. The NE may be high-PVP, but most KOS types seem to circle around their loot spots. I've seen many geared players in the NE but most have been friendly or neutral. And the bandits didn't just up and kill me, they made the effort to make it a proper stick-up. I can even forgive them for the rotten food they fed me before leaving me naked and bound.

Here's one, though a few keybind alterations would fix this: -Getting shot because you run into a player and accidentally press 1 to grab your SKS instead of F1 to wave hi.

My friends are mostly elsewhere. I don't like playing in groups for long times, I'm too impulsive :P And I'm not a killer. No match for bandits, no threat to bambis. Trading is fun to me. And I guess some people will trade a few bullets for everything you have, but that's the apocalypse for ya. I think I misspoke too, I did not mean having ammo as a fixed currency, but rather the most commonly used form of trade currency. Especially in my case, as my level of skill usually means I spend five times as much ammo as a good shooter. I'll gladly accept SKS ammo as payment.
