I've got a Mosin with nothing on it and no ammo :p

Once that I can recall. Worn ballistic helmet vs what I suspect was an SKS shot.

Will I be able to coat zombie heads in lime and throw them at my enemies?
-
I magically broke my legs. Guess where.

Always. Carry. A. Splint. -
It'll be some time before these guys decide they want to ride... shotgun... [/John Bunnell voice]

Yet when I snipe a zombie from 300 yards out, he drops almost instantly. Are you sure you're not experiencing lag or desync or whatever shenanigans could cause this?
-
Well, I guess these guys really got... *puts sunglasses over his sunglasses* screwed...
-
You should ALWAYS be wary. Even when I'm playing with RL friends I always try to stay behind them because one of them might decide it's hilarious to shoot me in the back and take my shit at any point in time...

They're not reanimated corpses like the traditional Romero zombies, true. But they're still mindless creatures. No sense of self-awareness or self-preservation. They'll run into blades and bullets like it ain't no thang. So pretty much like the rage zombie from 28 Days Later.

Also, aren't the cheeki breeki dudes dressed in full tracksuits? I remember an Adidas-looking logo on the backs of their jackets.
-
I ran around as a cowboy and a biker. The first was jeans, hiking boots, check shirt, aviators and cowboy hat. The second was jeans, combat boots, riders jacket, aviator and bike helmet, all black.

Being a lone zombie would suck terribly. I can't remember the last time a zombie managed to deal major damage, let alone kill me. Also, zombies are by definition mindless creatures driven by rage and/or instinct. Having them player-controlled would defeat that very existence.

I'm still having tons of fun.

Avoiding the drum mag 4 slot l33t reload BugZ
sachad replied to yazar8's topic in New Player Discussion
The drum mags don't actually disappear anymore, they just get dropped on the floor. Just tried this yesterday. -
Bullet ricochet wall punching ftw!

I agree with A and C, B I 'm not too sure about since I loathe anything that imposes sets of rules on certain actions. . D, not so much. Survival should be its own reward.

And $500 million budgets for over-hyped, mediocre games!
-
Let players play how they want. It's a survival game.

why are bags so rare compared to other items ?
sachad replied to dgeesio's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't mind having backpacks become rarer than they are now. Perhaps there could be some more low-tier packs added, like fanny packs, purses, laptop bags, etc. They'd have limited inventory space but they'd be more abundant too. -
Too much blood loss. I had that happen to me. Got KOd by a zombie, got an epi from my buddy, stumbled another 5 feet and then collapsed again. I respawned after 45 minutes.

Etiquette around people sitting by a fire?
sachad replied to Death By Crowbar's topic in General Discussion
If you ask me, shooting a man from behind when he's unaware of your presence is anything but an assertion of dominance. -
Is DayZ really set in fictional Ukraine?
sachad replied to Mr Sunshine Kid's topic in General Discussion
The shifty bastards! -
Maybe they only spawn on Welsh/NZ servers?

Etiquette around people sitting by a fire?
sachad replied to Death By Crowbar's topic in General Discussion
I'd probably assume it was a set-up and avoid them. I don't like fires in the wilderness any more than I like road flares in the middle of the road.
