    NEW SPAWN IDEA LOLOLOLOL

    I like pizza, do you?
  2. Dreganius (DayZ)

    Disconnecting to avoid death

Quoted my other post from another thread instead of typing out a new one.

Liberation! (Mechanic of reclaiming towns for Survivors)

I'm not for zombies always being able to run indoors unless they definitely get a speed nerf, perhaps they sprint at 0.92 the speed of the player? That way you can still juke them through buildings or even just sprint for a few kilometres to lose them. If that were the case, then sure. Camping indoors while in a liberation would be far too easy with the current mechanics, however, especially if there's only one or two ways into the building. You've essentially just made a chokepoint that the zombies are forced to walk through, straight into your bullets, so if Zeds could only walk through said chokepoints, it would make Liberation too easy to accomplish and hold.

    "Hey, I know you!"

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but you're now "RandomNoobInCherno", so let's team up maybe?

    Disconnecting to avoid death

Bascal, many other users have suggested precisely the same suggestion before you. Please use the search function so you can instead bump another thread, as the Developers are likely to pay more attention to threads with a lot of discussion on it rather than notice 50 different threads of the same nature. Thanks. Reported for a merge with another thread.

    Improving Cooperation

I like 1, 3, 4 and 7, but am not for 5 and 6. You have my support for those four ideas I stated.

    Molotov as weapon

The zed hordes couldn't just be 'ended' with a single Molotov though, they'd have to disintegrate a bit first, and if you get hit by a flaming Zed you should either start burning yourself or take bonus damage. After all, the only thing worse than a zed grabbing hold of you is a flaming zed grabbing hold of you. But yes, if they deal bonus damage, I support the idea.

    "Hey, I know you!"

    I am for this idea.

    Map Nomalsk

You can't blame him for trying though. His suggestion is pretty neat, so that counteracts his poor English in my opinion :P

    Dramatically change loot spawns

I vehemently oppose this idea. Why would loot not be accessible inside buildings? Supermarkets have no food? Hospitals have no medical supplies? What sense is there in that?

A Karma system to prevent extreme PvP

The problem with 100 negative karma is that canned food will then give you no blood at all, in fact, unless the blood gain from canned food was buffed to 500 recently, it should make the bandits lose 200 blood. Also, what if a Survivor gets shot at by a Bandit, but the Bandit has poor aim, and the Survivor fires back and kills his attacker? What if two survivors find someone sneaking up on them, gun aimed at them? What if a survivor gets the drop on someone he knows will try to kill him as he's seen him shooting other innocents? The Survivor who kills the Bandit in each scenario then loses all his hard-earned karma instantly due to this. I don't feel that this is appropriate. Perhaps, instead, you should only lose 5 karma per kill (as srs banditos will still kill fast enough to drop to -100 quickly), none of this 'resetting to 0', because some 'Murders' (not all, definitely not all) are too grey to be called black or white. Not a bad suggestion, though. If the kill debuff was reduced to 5, it doesn't punish accidental bandits too heavily, and rewards Survivors for being team players. Although, all this said, I'm still against Bandits being punished.

    idea for trust-building-mechanic

I believe most of the community agrees that punishing bandits is not the way to go, but rewarding survivors is. At the moment though, I can't think of how to tweak your idea to suit that common mindset. Too tired.

    Get rid of Barbed wire

THAT was a tantrum, yes, and that was due to outside reasons. Forgot I posted that, should probably go edit that post so I don't sound like a giant faggot. Oh well, too late anyway. Meh.
  14. Not sure why this thread hasn't got more views and votes, it's a very nice idea. You have my support.

"beans given" and "survivors healed" statistics

Hahaha, beans given, that's hilarious. +1 from me.

    Get rid of Barbed wire

I didn't throw a tantrum. Seems like you did though. Reporting for moderation is not the same as throwing a tantrum. I reported it, the thread got merged, and that's the end of that. I didn't once say that the thread should be deleted or made an insult against the OP or anyone else, so I'm not sure what you constitute as a tantrum.

    Get rid of Barbed wire

Use the search function. This is the thirteenth thread on this subject and counting. Reported.
  18. Dear OP. Could you please use the search function before you make a suggestion next time? I've seen three other threads discussing this same idea in the exact same fashion as you have suggested. Thank you for your time.

    night-time darkness fix

Non-cloudy nights are as pitch-black as cloudy nights in-game, Eleven. This isn't realistic at all. I have no issue with the moon cycle, but my main beef is ^ that.

    Dynamic logoff timeout

After some consideration, I think this suggestion might be a pretty decent fix to the issue of "Ghostspawning" as I've heard it called. You have my support.

Liberation! (Mechanic of reclaiming towns for Survivors)

Damonjay, although your comment is valid, I believe Rocket wishes to solve some of those issues. Or, at least, that's what I've come to believe reading his posts and such. Regardless, they still have to first get enough members to clear the town of all the inhabitants, and even then I can think of much better ways to crack open a liberated area, such as waiting for the survivors to face a horde, send in a sick player, have a sniper start firing on them and have a main force move in, sneak into the town to begin with/walk in posing as survivors, or a combination of those things.

    More interesting scavenging.

Thing is, you're not actually opening the box. If you look closely, the loot is underneath the box, and the box is just clipping over it.
