hey there 3 things about FR34 1. I played there for about 3 days now and there are TONNS of vehicles. I haven't played DayZ in quite a while so I don't know whether thats normal now but I found a Ural and a Prada and 2 hmmv's in just 2 days. Is that normal or was I just lucky or have you added more vehicles than normal? 2. I just found a vehicle with a gun on it. Is that normal in vanilla dayz now too or just on this particular server or was it a hacker. 3. I joined the mumble server to report said vehicle but I can neither switch the chanel nor text anybody so the mumble server is kinda useless imho.

I still use Dayz Commander... I don't know how I can find servers via steam... tried the ingame server browser, it is horrible!

I had the exact same issue today. Could play for about 1 minute then kick. Deleted all the lokal files in steam (for Arma 2, Arma 2 OA and Arma 2 OA Beta) 1. Downloaded and installed Arma 2 ==> Started the game and a mission 2. Downloaded and installed Arma 2 OA ==> Started the game and a mission 3. Patched Arma 2 via Dayz Commander 4. Installed DayZ via Dayz Commander and every thing worked again. hope it helps

sorry forgot to say that. I rejoined the same server (of which i know that it is public hive). I also tried 3 different servers and I had the same character at the same spot everywhere. EDIT: I reinstalled the game bc I got "Authentication timeout" all the time. After the reinstallation I had all my gear back. *confused* but *resolved* can be closed

Hi folks I did not buy arma over steam but because of the whole gamespy thing I did register it in steam now. So yesterday I played a bit and every thing worked (after the steam registration) but today I got "session lost" every time I tried to connect to a server via Dayz Commander. So I tried a few things (I reinstalled the game via Dayz Commander, I changed the Directory in Dayz Commander and so on and so forth) anyway the problem was solved and the game was running again. So I logged in and played for a few minutes until I noticed, that my settings had changed. I thought this is probbably due to the whole reinstallation stuff, luckily I had a copy of my .cfg files so I closed the game, deleted the .cfg files and replaced them with my saved ones. Then I wanted to change my Ingamename bc it was old and I didn't like it anymore, so I started Arma 2 OA changed my player profile and started dayz again. As I connected to the server I was able (forced) to choose gender and a spawn location and I had a new character (obviously my equip was gone). Could anyone explain to me what happend?

Hi @all I haven't been playing DayZ for about half a year and just restarted. I still have my old caracter though, maybe it has something to do with that. Anyway... I like the new update for the most part but there are a few things I don't understand. The blood transfusion kit... I have one, I have almost full blood but I can't use it. Am I missing an Item? Also I heard that selfbloodbaging should now be possible. Although I have a bloodbag with the right blood type, I can't use it. Then the new food system... Yesterday: I was abel to regenerate my blood using meat (which I thought should be impossibru now) Yesterday: Eating and drinking cans regenerated noting/close to nothing to my food/drink bar (is it supposed to be that way?) Yesterday: Drinking a botle of water regenerated my drink bar about 3/4 (is it supposed to be that way?) Today: Drinking and Eating did not add to my food/drink bar (I tried a well, waterbottle, cans and meat) Today: Eating meat did not regenerate my blood... I played on the same server as yesterday and also tried a different server today => same results I logged out now 'cause I'm dying of thirst. -.- I think the update goes into the right direction and great performance improovements have been made as it seems but those bugs (if they are bugs) are really annoying. PS: I tried using the search function of this forum before posting... but it seams that it is either not working or I am too stupid to use it... typed in the word "has" and searched for it in this topic... no results *confused*
