Because its an Alpha. If you're pissed you shouldn't be here, you are here to test for the developpers and no for yourself, when your stuck in the green hills Press RESPAWN, then Abort and then get back in the game, works for me. If it is still at 1.6.8 something gone wrong and try it manually.

It is an Aplha, What did you excpect an whole Standalone game with all the features to the people belongs ? YOU are here to TEST, I got an High end CPU to. Specs: AMD 1055T X6 @ 3.8GHz 8GB RAM KIT DD3 Corsair Vengeance GTX560 (SC) @ 2.5GB ( all you have to know ) And even I have problems running it all maxed out. Just make the best off it and dont whine your ass off, It aint gonna help development like that.
