Okay yesterday I heard about how Rocket confirmed M1 Garand...and I think thats the most irrelevant weapon they could add in DayZ. In history of Chernarus there is no mention of US forces being present in Chernarus. I live in Slovakia ( the fine country that have posters across the Chernarus with export beer Smadny Maskrtnik) and its really hard to get your hands on a soviet weaponery not to mention the ww2 american guns....If they want to add ww2 american weapons they should add the guns that were shipped to soviet union during the Land Lease like thompsons for example. My point is...if they want to add the ww2 guns they should add weapons of german or soviet origin.

You would need a lot of sprays for that :D But I think you should be able to spray just some patterns on them similar ones to flags or full camo (black n green) something like battlefield 4 emblems. Because if you give players a free hand in painting their own vehicles, you gonna see a huge amount of dicks painted all over the cars across the chernarus

I am not sure about the pile up idea but (I will bring up the idea that was mentioned here hundreds of times) I would love to see a hordes of zombies, travelling a cross the map, like in the Word War Z book, the Yonkers part, after every restart the zombies would migrate from major towns across the map,maybe town to town, but still the towns would be heavily infestated. But I hope the Zeds will be able to damage the baricades at some point.

I got tired of full gear long time ago. I started searchin for track suits or damaged civilian clothing, no guns, just some axe against the zombies. Then I search for powdered milk and worms, then I sell them to people as crack and well...worms :D ( I managed sell some crack to a dude, then he got sick, so as a good dealer I helped him with medicine). The other time, same clothing - all green - run around Zelenogorsk (Zeleno - its close to a word Green in Slovakian language). I took the bulrap sack, cut it to pieces and stuffed it full with grass- it looked like a giant joint. I also geathered paprika as kush, I was the mothafucking Weed man. I selled one blunt for a longhorn-shit was so cash-the dude was laughing his ass off. This is how I break monotony in DayZ. Or join roleplay servers...some people do really roleplay, but ofc you gonna find some KOS jackasses there.

Kids are fucking evil man, while I was playing with my friend one day, my little cousin, she is like 9 or 10 I dont know, watched me playing and when she saw my friend she told me to kill him...I asked why, she said "because". What the hell is wrong with you kid!?

I think kids should stay away from dayz, I have met 2 kids so far, killed one, other one singed and saved his life...but they are devious, when you speak with them its like speaking to a person with a mental issues, like schizophrenics, you dont know what they gonna do in next 5 seconds. But you know what would be fun? If there was a kid model in dayz, I can see it now...so much molestation and grown ups weirdos playing as kids or playing as adults dressed up in kiddy clothing. For some reason this needs to happen.

I really love the island idea but the skalisty island is too small for building like that...As some mentioned here the Utes island should be definitely added to the Chernarus map...The urbanization is little bit pain in the ass but I dont really mind it. But if they gonna add a new island they also need to add at least some simple boats. ( RIP to those thousands killled vulnerably sitting in the boats)

Yep can confirm this one, I saw one dude on the airfield, 2 of us were camping the airfield enterence for a while, we wanted to capture him because at first he looked like a normalne player, then he started what at first appeared like lagging but infact he was relocating really really fast, and my friend didnt even noticed him sneaking up on her, he just appeared there and shot her at point blank range. Then I was about to shoot but suddnely I saw "lag" again and then just heard pistol shot really close to my head, bang - *You are dead*. That mofo was speedhacking damn right.

The development team should inspire from DICE and what they did in BF4. how awesome would be looking for small little gems/pieces of information all across the map and putting theo together. We already found the big onces..

lmb bug is really annoying, till this patch I ve never experienced it, but now? I played for about 4-5 hours from yesterdays patch and it happened to me 5 times or so...luckily I was fighting zombies not players so I managed to run to the safe place... Also, I have an inventory bug where when I m swapping backpacks the items disappear for some reason. Last thing... the weirdest sound bug happened to me yesterday...I heard someone vomiting twice, and it sounded really close...the fuck man, not cool, not cool at all.

I live in a place that looks practically like Dubky, a lot of good old socialist flats ...so, haters gonna hate.

My girlfriend hates it so much, because when I play, me and mates are on teamspeak and I often overhear the phone, then she is pissed that I dont answer her calls and shit. Also I live and Slovakia, and the Chernarus was inspired by Czech country side witch is practically the same as ours. So very often when I see buildings from game irl I think about the loot I can found there...also there are many ruined castles in my area witch remind me Zub, Devils castle etc... like this one for instance Gonna spend a night in there next weekend! :beans:

It would be great if the guitar was added as a melee weapon, and even better if you could even play on it, for instance you scroll while equipped with a guitar and list of songs will pop up and you pick one and character will play it. Yes it can get you killed really easily but things like that would make an awesome atmosphere (like the bandits in stalker) in the game and community events would be much more fun. And some dance animations would be also great, like in Epoch mod, where you could only danced around the fire.

Most likely everything that is thrown at it will stuck in the air, as you can see the bandana in a second picture is also floating in the air. I fired a few shots but not directly from the tower, gonna try that next time. With a friend I felt much much better in that place, we gonna return there in the name of science and test some more. As far as I know the place was quiet like a grave yard. Funny thing tho, we were playing like 3 hours straight and when we finally arrived to GM it got dark :beans:

Did you go there when it was night in Real Life too? What was the atmosphere like? I played during the night, IRL night. Well the whole trip was quite bizarre. I ll start up from the beginning. I logged in the GM because the last time I played the server restarted right there, I was planning to log off in the Zeleno. So I checked the place and nothing unusual was happening so I left the place. Down the hill to the Zeleno I noticed few odd things. There are trees missing in a wast area close to top of the hill from the back side of the Military building , I also noticed many medium sized rocks all over the hill and some knocked down trees... made me think if it wasnt because of a collision of some kind...well never mind. I made my way to the Zeleno and the things got weird... The sky was covered with heavy strom clouds but they turned into a pitch black sky but you could see like if it was a normal day. So I looted a town, met a few zombies but no survivors although the town was already looted. http://imgur.com/BEtSdqa So I left the town but the sunlight was getting weak and the night started to fall. I had just a flashlight and stuff to make the fireplace kit. I didnt even want to go to the GM because it was getting really dark and the atmosphere was really getting tense. I could feel it in the air. I didnt have a walkie talkie, that was the main reason I didnt want to go to the GM. I still hoping I ll someday hear the GM transmission. I wandered to the woods with intention of avoiding the place... In the forest is usually darker than in the fields...In the dark forest my fantasy started to work and my spaghetti in my pockets were ready to jump out. Then I suddenly saw that I didnt want...the antenna. I by mistake wandered directly to it... mfw So I chopped down a tree and decided to make a camp in there and try to survive the night. By that time I could still see the surroundings. Since it was raining I set a fireplace inside of the tower. When I lighted the fire at first it blinded me and then I saw it levitating..ff.f.f.f..ff.f.f.f.f.f.fuck, "it has begun" I thought, Then I ran outside though the fire and saw darkness, everything that was not touched by the light of the fireplace was consumed by darkness. I flipped shit... took those few pictures, didnt even put out the fire and ran off to the woods, with feeling that something is starring at me from the dark, I was paranoid as fuck, the atmosphere was insane. When I came to the fields I stared to see the surroundings pretty clearly, honestly I was expecting it gonna be much darker...then I logged off.
