The game works on HP, doesn't matter where you get shot, you lose HP. There's no better way of doing it so get used to arm shots being fatal. -

Hey guys, I'm curious if the fir trees will ever be tweaked so that people camping in them can be shot. Currently, if you're sitting in one - about "half way in" - you are able to shoot out of the fir tree and your are almost completely bulletproof as the branches absorb all the hits. This isn't a gamebreaking bug, but it's something that I find certainly to be very annoying, and is also something that was in the mod.

No. But I want to have the option to kill myself when I get stuck below a building or inside rocks. -

Yeah I agree. I've had people spawn with broken legs and they'd just wait to starve to death if they're not anywhere near zombies. Suicide should be in testing by all means, even in final release. All these people trying to make the game over the top hardcore for no good reason other than to make it hardcore will drive a majority of the playerbase away with their stupid ideas. -
You think this is bad... On DayZero if you kill a zombie it'll respawn within 5 seconds and immediately aggro. Yeah thats fun.

Maybe. But they wouldn't make you impervious to all incoming damage.

I'm not talking about tree trunks, I'm talking about the branches that are no more than an inch in diameter. Even if the branch was hit the bullet would go clean through. Majority of the fir tree is not even the wood but the green needles which are also bulletproof.

I don't usually have a problem with big cities, apart from the inconsistent FPS in them. Sometimes you can look one direction and have 5 fps, look 180 degrees the other way, back to 60. -
