Servers and characters should be wiped with the new update. There are no bases anyway considering you can break into one with a hatchet in under 2 min. Whats the point in cluttering them all up.

When geared players jump servers it sends them back to the coast areas most of the time... So thats why there are more geared players then freshies all over the coastal area. Its horrible.. Also alot of players jump to empty Lavonia servers gear up in seconds to the max and then zip back to full servers with bags of guns and ammo. They wacked out a whole game to avoid base exploit and ghosting when the base destruction takes about 30 seconds to break down and ghosting could have been fixed with a huge time wait when jumping servers , like 5 min. It just makes meeting up with friends such a pain when your both coming from different servers.

Just The Runningmans 1pp Chernarus and The Underground , There the only 2 close to vanilla that makes the game a challenge. Every other server has some trader with airdrops, food, guns and ammo washing up on the beach as much as the grains of sand. And you are right.... You shouldn't be forced to play some private server as a solution because they cant get there act together and have official servers that can detect or ban the out of control cheats , hacks and abuse. But nothing has changed with these guys from DAY 1 , All swept away till the next head guy moves on to another company , new guy comes in , promises promises and all swept away. Nothing ever really gets fixed. It's all about stringing us along , making the game just tolerable that sales still happen and the least amount of effort and money goes out to fixing it. Everything always just swept away under the rug for someone else to deal with .. Sad really... Its outta control and nothing being done about it. I love the steam moderators who stand up for this game like a cult and delete any negative posts response to the hacker posts. JUST GO PLAY ON PRIVATE SERVERS.. Ok that's the answer to Bohemia not fixing the problem. JUST UNREAL...

It's a good server but the disable base destruction mod kills it. Once players can lock all that gear away ya end up with an entire server running around with Ak's.

Why would a server owner ask for a LAR ? He could just spawn one in if he wants or delete the stashes you made without you even knowing.

Same here. You think this would be a critical thing they would have added before jumping around and throwing themselves a party for going to beta. Well now that the game has open modding looks like they are packing up there bags already and bye bye to any future work. So I would not hold my breath for any coming fix to this. All I see are 100 posts telling me how to edit the document and do it myself. Which I don't know how to do. Great job after 5 years turning the game over to the players....that will have this thing looking like an ARMA 2 clone within a week. An absolute disgrace....

They move if anyone is within 800 meters of them. So if your 1000 out and there dancing around someone is in that area.

It's still a thing in every two story building and higher. I got dayZed in the double green the other day walking up the stairs. Also seen a guy die in the ATC building heading up to the top floor. That isan't fixed but we have a new machine gun comming out. THANK GOD !! Because the stair deaths can wait .. what we desperately need is another automatic machine gun that holds a 200 round box.

Tents were not viable in the MOD , because of helicopters. They looked like BIG WHITE BOXES from the sky no matter how well hidden. One guy in one heli could wipe out every base on an entire map in about 1 hour. The same will happen here with barrels and tents once they add the Horrible little bird. Stash hiding is OVER. Mabey if they add that buried stash people will be able to squirrel away a few things but that heli will end the collection of gear. Bear traps and landmines are not persistent so that help is out the window. Walls will not help when you can hover over a camp and hop out of a heli right inside the camp.

Thank you ! I could not agree more. Every week i get a new rocket launcher photo. IT'S ENOUGH.... Add a zippo lighter or something , Not RPG's . It's bad enough there adding a heli and bike. I think next well have a few battle ships and submarines added :)

Radical new idea .... Put a Status report out under 37 days and fix the cooking fish in this game after 2 years... or is there another Brazil PAX Comicon were flying off to for 6 months to hold off work ? This progress in this game is just off the CHARTS ... Wasen't it . Were pushing.60 before New years , Now it's end of the month... Place your bets Kids, Place your bets.

That is because the 38 people sadly are running around Cherno in front of the police station. I don't think side chat will fix the problem but now that they have that message toggle nonsense that used up time instead of .60 mabey they could add a side chat and if players didn't like it they could just turn it off like the messages. The MOD has it if you need it that bad. The only reason i liked it was because it killed the boredom when i was running up north i had people to chat with. It would be a nice option for private servers and players could choose to toggle it on or off. P.S. Fix the fishing >:(

They won't cook anyway to even be eaten , or you get sick. Another broken thing in this game , But there adding helicopters and bicycles before they fix it , So look on the bright side.

Well we can sure see how bad DayZ is and desperately in need of new content after this.. But well just wait patiently another 6 weeks i guess for a status report. I for one can't wait to see how many new automatic rifles there tossing in before fixing a cooking pot.

I wish it was out of the game , so i don't have people racing back to there body and jumping back in a gun fight two min after they die. I mean yea if you want to jump off a building that is fine. But with a knife in every house and now the Rag glitch it's out of control. I mean isant that why they took out the stone knife and ocean water suicide out because it was way super fast to just suicide. There making it way to convenient to get right back in the fight. Wait till these horrible bicycles get in the game , God Help Us All. Why don't we just teleport back to our body and save them the trouble.

I remove the battery and spark plug with no problem and no tolls using the old ui. Just look under the hood and zoom in on the plug or battery with nothing in your hands till it gives you the detach icon, Then toss there spark plug in the woods :)

It means the downfall is getting closer and closer with little moves like this.
