If i pick them up ( My backpacks and 4 guns on the ground and move them a few feet will the timer restart on those items ?

Yes! I loved it too for that one week it existed before they went back to legacy loot system. It was so funny passing ten+ people along the side of the road planting food :) Finding weapons and ammo was second on the list. I hope they can tip the loot scale again so it's much much much harder to find canned food.

The barrel persistence was not working for me, has anyone else had the issue ? The truck works but each restart the barrel was empty. I couldnt find any posts about it.

You chill , I didn't buy SA to play on a console and i don't remember reading anything about the SA being moddable down the line. I would have just stayed with the horror that is Arma2 Mod if that was the case. But i for one can't wait to see a sky full of airplanes being shot down by a russian battleship by a guy that has auto aim and a god mode script :) WOW i can't wait for it to start. Player freedom.. sure , genius move as you can see from Arma Dayz mod.

Good , I love it when all the gear starts to run out. Alot less people running around with Ak's and AUG's. They stay home and plant food instead of sniping at me from a hilltop. Now it's gonna be back to every player with an armory strapped to there back :( P.S. This is my first time trying experimental. Is there any set time that the servers are usually down ? Is it like 2 hours or the whole day ? Just asking cause i don't feel like going back to stable if there going to be up in an hour. Also do they tell you what the update is ?

Can you make the stone fireplace still ? I tried adding the 8 rocks to the fireplace but nothing happened. It just remained the regular log fireplace.

I found one in Cernaya Polana in one of the bigger sheds. I forget what one. The plywood shed with the closable door and canvas window or bigger one with the open doorway. It was one of those.

Thank you... This game is over the second people can MOD it. Here come the Fighter Jets and Submarines. It will turn into a cheaters paradise and a piece of %^#% just like the Mod. I figure it won't be for a while though so get your fun in now. Mabey they will make it so you can mod it a few years down the road ... about the same time when they add the tent persistence in.

Yea ColdAtrophy is right. I think the sickness comes in 5 stages of color and you have to ride out each stage. I went to one of those little camp grounds in the middle of no where and planted a pumpkin patch by the well. They do have a medical building there too in those camps. I used the Syringe and bottled antibiotics , then vitamins. Then just keep yourself energized and hydrated while you go through each sickness stage.. I won't lie that it took about two hours (real time ) for it to leave. I was told later on that each time you inject yourself with bottled antibiotics it sends you to the next stage of sickness to hurry and get through it , but i have not actually tried it. If i get sick again i am just going to stash my goodies and then suicide and run back :) P.S. I believe the charcoal tabs are for when you eat bad food. You can take them right after and you should not get sick. If you take them right away i heard.

I would say find a tent and start to make a camp but we all know that pipe dream has floated away with the clouds.. Plus it's such a JOY knowing you can get massively geared up by just taking a little skip down the road.

Because there is just way way way to much food and a guns and ammo on every corner. I hope private server owners can lower all that soon so there will be some nice hardcore servers. Ones where im not stepping over bags of rice to get to those 3 Ak's :P . I miss the days of the garden shovel :(
