Is it true you can combine the Smersh Vest and Backpack into one large piece then still wear a backpack ?

Yea , they sure can. I watched 2 Walkers chase a deer and he ran into a fenced yard where he became boxed in and they got him :( I wonder if you can still take the meat and hide , I didn't try.

I liked it too , Wish it was an option private servers could make active if they wanted, It was nice to chat with everyone while i had that 2 hour run across the map.

I attached it to my gas stove and it is now only 2 spots , I haven't found a gas canister yet to attach that , Do you know if it will stay at 2 inv spaces after the tank is attached or will it take up more space ?

Every box of matches i have ever found have like 40- 70 matches in them , and usually get ruined ot damaged by the time i find another box to take. So losing 3 or 5 is no biggie to me.

1x3 ? When i made my fishing pole it was like 1x6 spaces :( They need a tackle box or fishing lure , the worse part is digging up and carrying the worms.

Had a question while were talking about less noise , Do differant shoes make your footsteps less noisy ? Like will running sneakers make you be quieter than stomping around in huge boots ? Or is it all the same.

Just curious , has anyone ever killed an animal with a Melee weapon ? I tried but they just keep running away from me, But i was able to make a Bow and kill a few animals.

This is where i found the 3 i found too , seems to be the best place. I was with a guy that found one in the ChickOn Coop too.

Thank you someone said it , This guy is a Tool , that he can't find a drink or an apple , I have zero problem ever finding food or being outta the green. Instead of Racing to the Military base to get a gun to KOS , check a house or two. I hope they tweak it even harder for him , will give a poor soul 10 more min to live while he has to eat before he goes shooting up the streets. HAHAHAHAHA I'm starving , friggin moron

I doubt this will work or has anything to do with it , but when ever i had a problem with the Mod starting i would goto steam ,and download the beta files again and it would usually fix the problem. If ya don't know --- GOTO STEAM ---- Then on your Dayz game click properties Then goto beta and change it to experimental -- Then after that downloads , Change it back to None Opt out , and see if that does anything, I heard sometimes it might whack a file back in thats missing or not working. Worth a shot.

HAHAHA , Exactly ..... and why are so many people saying there starving and freezing to death ? I have never died once from hunger or temperature , I'm always in the green , I just put on a jacket and eat and drink everything i come across.

Anyway i can get the name of that RP- No KOS server , so i can walk more than 6 feet without getting my head shot off for my worn jacket.

Did you goto your History tab and click on the server ? or just pick it from the internet tab and think it was the same. because i have logged into almost identicle servers that i thought were the same but would start me with two differant characters. Like ----> NJ (2-12) : Persistance off My character NJ (2-16) :Persistance off Fresh spawn on beach I would check your history tab and try a server from there.

Well when i got the game the first thing i found was a fishing hook and made a pole. Looked up how to fish and it worked fine. Also made a bow , killed a few chickons found a few arrows and went hunting with the bow , everything went fine. Use the small gas stove to cook the tasty bbq. Made a fire place but never used it to cook , only because it's easier to use the stove then dig up rocks and get paper and rags and gold and stardust and all the other 20 things you need for a fireplace. But i never posted any bugs with them beacuse they all worked fine for me and i had no trouble finding the stuff to make it. Try searching in places other than jumping from barracks to barracks to barracks..

I Love the Vanilla , I started playing that , then when on to Epoch that i hated. Only because there were skyscraper bases that went into the clouds and you can buy almost anything you need. I started playing Overpoch , I do like it but again with the buying and skyscrapers. I wish there was an Overpoch server where the loot is very hard to find and there were no traders to buy stuff from. All the gear /guns in it are amazing , but when your tripping over 14 machineguns every building you enter it kinda gets old real quick. I'm juts playing Sa from now on. But if you really want the best experience i would play the Dayz Mod Vanilla. I don't know what that other guy is talking about i see servers packed to the brim with players , so many so that i don't even join because i hate 40/40 packed servers. try a server called Dayz Europa , it's a Vanilla and always packed with players.

This might be a real ditzy question but what does proper inventory managment consist of ? Like just making sure items don't overlap other items ? Is there anything specific ? Just wondering because i had two tents now vanish and i am sure it's because i'm doing something wrong. Just wondering if there is a certain way or only certain items to put in them. Any help would be great so i don't have to go tent hunting everyday :(

Yea , are they still there ? I had a tent with a few items in it , and it lasted about 2 days till it vanished on a persistance : on server , So i hope your gear is still there. I have better luck making improvised packs and just dropping them in one area , they seem to stay for days and days.

I made 3 improvised backpacks and was storing gear in them, i found a tent and on my return , only about half the items were left in them. I wanted to know if items can like degrade in the bags and vanish ? or were they stolen ( do you think ) Because if they degrade and poof* thats fine , but i don't want to put a tent down in the same spot and have that robbed. Has anyone else had items vanish from those bags i guess is my question.

Ok , Thank you guy's. Yea it was like alota food and cooking stove and items like that. I'll drop the tent and hide the bags in another spot and keep checking on them. Thank you for your help.

I checked for a few more solutions , Some people posted these. Hope mabey one of them will help. I dont know if you are still having this problem but I was able to see my servers once I disabled my firewall. For some reason it seems that it's just the server browser that isn't working. If you do a google search for servers and find a public one, enter it manually and it will work just fine. Edit: Try something like this - http://www.gametracker.com/search/dayz/US/ -clicking another tab and going back to the internet tab, making sure the filters were correct, refresh plenty of times and waited several minutes. Check your ping filter # i think it should be set to around 100.

I had this problem too , when another computer in my house was downloading a game on steam , It made the PING's really really high and only like 3 servers showed after i waited 5 min for them to pop up, I would see if any other comps in your house are workin hard or find a way to get that ping down , because once the download was done and my ping was back to normal all the servers showed up.
