Hi Paxom Hmm cool, nice that someone takes a look at that. I knew about the "spinal fracture damage" (WOBO) or whatever you wanna call it, I didn't know though that it might be related to the "above ground floor breaking legs/dying" bug. Sorry it took me a while to answer, but I had the idea to combine my answer to you with my first Youtube video :) So, there we go, if you want to watch it (it's only four minutes), here's the link to the gallery: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/213859-800m-mosin-snipershot-and-instant-karma/ I'll try to answer everything as good as I can remember, here you go: - I was alive for around 8 hours I think ---- (90% sure). - I only took like four or five zombie hits ---- (99% sure). - I took one shot (sks) to the lower torso ---- (100% sure). - I think I used two splints (one after a zombie hit, no visible fracture) and the other one as premeasure before sniping (again no visible fracture) ---- (90% sure). - I think I only bled twice (one time zombie one time sks shot) ---- (80% sure). - No, I'm pretty sure I didn't get hit from zeds from distance (not with this char at least) ---- (70% sure). - From another floor is possible (I can't remember if it was with this char or not) ---- (50% sure) - Death you can see in the movie :D haha but of course I'll tell you if you don't want to watch, it was in a room, behind the windows of a skyscraper (3rd or 4th floor down from the top I think) the single, very tall ones, the one that is closest to Chernogorsk (see DayZ DB map 058 126 below or my movie) It seems that I stood up right before I died, so I was standing (inside the room, not on the balcony). http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus#7.060.127 Cheers Buddy, I hope that helps! Last 15 Servers (that were 40/40), I've met a hacker every single time.

Well, while we're at it, I'm mostly friendly, but I love sniping (former CS AWP clan player in 1.6), and I didn't like it in the beginning that it is way harder to snipe than in COD, CS, BF etc., so I had to get some practice. Well, I killed at least 50 people that never knew what happened to them and most of them probably didn't hear the shot either :P (In my defence, not one full Bambi, I only kill Bambies when they try to unleash their evil fists of fury) I guess I'm sorry? :rolleyes: :P

I was countersniping tripple yellow (in Cherno) from a Chapaevsk skyscrappers balcony (trying to save my friends that got shot at from tripple yellow). I got the "You are Dead" "your legs are broken" while lying (on the ground in a room) and not moving a single bit (I think so at least, gotta check again). I would have every bit of respect if someone sniped me (since there are not many places they could've shot me from and all of them are 900+). I recorded it as well, but I guess you can't see that many useful things in order to clear that up :P So I take it was another "Let me break your legs and kill you why not game bug" :) too bad.

Dude forget cities, go play on a night server and go alone to the NWAF and camp there. I was close to calling the psychiatry if they could look after me for the next two weeks after that :D

I don't think this counts for all soundbugs though. I used to think the same... BUT before 0.47/0.48 or 0.49 (not sure anymore) there was no sound bug for the WHOLE eating "animation", it was always just parts of it (same for drinking). Now, you can hear WHOLE eating/drinking animations (pretty rare though), even though no one is close to you.

Haha and you don't seem to be the best at detecting irony :D it's not that I didn't get your post, I just tried to add authority to your statement. Let's put it like that, we have the same opinion ;)

If this didn't help --> (we had the same problem before), just press ESC, go to Video Settings, ESC again, back to the game, should be good again. We had the same blurry screens and all we needed to do was the above. Hope it works. Oh and yeah, it's the Post Process Quality you should disable. One of these things should work.

Just for that foolish assumption I dearly hope to see your head through my lrs sometime, and trust me, you won't even hear the shot :) Perfect example why your post was completely false Cptn_Miller. And to prevent any upcoming wrong judgements, I play all playstyles (mostly KOS or all the way friendly, depending on mood).

Thank god, I really really hope it will be fixed all the way (if it's even still a thing on exp., haven't played that in a while) before they push it to stable. Otherwhise it'll be my first off time from DayZ untils it's changed :)

I heard there is literally still no loot on any persistance servers, exp. or stable. When are they going to fix that? I hope it won't get pushed to stable if that's still the case.

That I thought as well until yesterday :( I might upload a movie about it later, I hit a dude with a Mosin like 3-4 times, but I think the shots didn't register (even though he bled and the clothing got ruined), I'm not sure if it was desync, that's why I'm making a movie, I want to know what happened. @op --> I've had a lot of desync problems since 0.49 and it's definitely not my internet, so it's the game at the moment, I'm 100% sure of that.

Or it was a hacker, I know they can see indicators with the players names. But it's more likely he walked up to your body and checked your pulse as mentioned above.

short answer, didn't read the thread --> Yes, I've made too many bad experiences with masked players, would most likely have shot you on sight.

It might be a bug at the moment? We caught three serverhoppers in the Pavlovo Military Base inside the Barracks yesterday. We tried to shoot them through the windows (we were three guys all with AK), not a single bullet went through any of the windows at all :(
