Re-Patch

Everything else you wrote is great info and I'm sure helpful to lots of Mosin newbs, ^ that however is a "lie". I've been testing for weeks with extrem ranges, on 99% on the map (at least all the places I tried), the player rendering stops at 1000/1001 meter (even confirmed it with friends, step by step back etc.). If you know a trick how to increase the range of view, I'd love to know that (and then I'd say sorry for calling your sentance a lie) :) cheers Oh and for the OP --> Yes, I do still use it (most used weapon by far actually for me) the Mosin is still an absolute beast if you know how to handle that gun.

No idea if that's anywhere near correct and why it would help anyone, nevertheless, this is how I would rate it for the last few patches (1000h + hours on Standalone) food: kiwi gun: blaze ammo: .357 or shotgun pellets mag: makarov melee: crowbar headwear: boonie hats pant: canvas or tracksuit shirt/jacket: normal t-shirt vest: six slot normal one's med: bandages misc item no one cares about: books misc item: portable gas stove

I stopped and recorded it yesterday, definitely at least 20 minutes (but there might be a lot of different cold stages), but I wasn't even "Cold" before we started the fire, so it could not have been that bad. It's only "I'm warming up", not even the rapidly warming up, running with a Dawn Jacket heats you up faster, please fix that :)

You are completely right, it's just ridiculous, I hope they are working on it. Really, I work every day until the evening, then I have a few hours to play... of course what I'm looking forward to is looting 2.5 hours for two cans of food and nine barracks without any military loot whatsoever. Seriously, I wouldn't even play on the persistance servers if I had all day for it, how can anyone be so loyal to that game? (and that coming from someone who started standalone only a few months ago and now has 1000+ hours...) cheers :)

You find loot --> off, you don't find loot --> on :P :P :P JK, sorry, I'm not sure, there's probably a way to see in the config/logs after you joined a server, but to know it before (on serverlist screen), I don't know (but I don't think there is a way).

Why would anyone still play on persistance servers right now, I really don't get it. Bastard, would love some taco bell as well :o Solution for me, write "off" in server search, just join persitance off servers (see server name).

I often play Mosin "only" for a long period of time and I usually manage to find everything within 30/40 minutes. Cherno, Elektro, Severograd are pretty good for example. Look for the (three storey I think) building with blue doors on both sides (with the stairs and the shelves upstairs), there's a ton of long range scopes in there and mosin compensators. You can find the mosins in there as well, but even more often in schools (top room or roof) and construction sites (look everywhere) & taverns/bars (look everywhere), in police stations & the long brown barns as well. Well this was the original reason why I opened this to ask here, because I THOUGH (not sure) it happened to me too before, so I could still have been killed by a countersniper. That would have been an amazing shot though :D if so, and if you should ever see this, gg Sir, wp :P

Both your explanations make sense, one thing is bugging me though. I don't know if you watched my video... if you did, you could see I was camping inside a room in a skyscraper. I have been in that room for more than 30/40 minutes I think until that happened, meaning I didn't quickly move up/down leaders/stairs etc. I did move a bit, crouch/stand/prone, 2-3 meters left/right, but that's about it.

I wonder if it's actually this: any tiny damage, like simple walk on ground floor in a building, or ladder, can kill you instant. that's killing you or just this: simply bugged through the floor as we all like to do occasionally @Paxom I can't remember everything from WOBO's video, but didn't he say you die (but only when you get hit/shot/something) or is the spinal fracture thing really the reason for those "above ground level random leg breaks etc. Actually, I can't imagine them being related too much, because yesterday, I spawned as a freshy (in Svet) and ran to (Cernaya) to the firestation to get an axe. The firestation broke my legs on the second level in the tower (my leg is in pain, not the actual fracture though)... I didn't get hit by a zombie or anything else before that... so ... I really don't get it anymore :rolleyes:

Hallo Everyone Recently I was experimenting with video cutting and I made a few first attempts at a "let's play".
