Hi. The main server where I play tried to update to 1.7.2 and something went wrong. And it gave the " This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact DayZ staff. " error. He's now downgraded it back to 1.7.1.5 and now my tents, my motorcycle and my normal cycle have all gone. Have they been purged due to the downgrade, or will they appear when the server is restarted? ( hasn't been restarted since downgrade )

I know it's bugged. But what I want to know is, has it actually been removed, or has it just been screwed when Rocket scraped too much? And if I don't log in until the hotfix, will I still have it?

/sigh It's a BETA operating system. This means the Video drivers and most of the other drivers haven't been developed for it just yet, hence why it's all screwy. Why don't you duel boot? Have Win 7 on one partition and Win 8 on the other. @Roboserg, you said Windows 8 wasn't out. When the RC has been out a while.

Well i haven't loaded in since 7.1.5 as the server I usually play on is having problems. So I'm hoping I've still got it when I load in when 1.7.2.1 goes live. And if he's cut too deep with the classname removals, shouldn't it not be spawning at chopper crash sites aswell?

Because you're not giving clear indications on what you've tried? XxLogeexX gave you something to try and you haven't said if you've tried it or not. Have you tried reinstalling ARMA II and ARMA II : Operation Arrowhead? Because it sounds like a missing file. If you've got STEAM you can do a integrity file check. Have you downloaded, installed and running the latest ARMA II: OA patch? ( 94700 ) Have you ticked the " BETA " box under Options in the bottom left of Six Launcher? When you're asking for help. Try to be a bit more specific on what you've tried / done. And if anyone tries to help you, at least have the curtsy to say " Thanks, but it didn't work "

The RC has been out quite some time now Roboser. You're playing a ALPHA game on a BETA Windows client. Put the two together and you have a whole mass of problems. Uninstall and go back to Windows 7 IMO.

I did think this also, but there's no comments from Rocket / Mods about weather or not it's actually been removed. Me and my buddy were looting the southern Barracks at NWAF. We heard gunfire close by, so we got out and lingered in the area in case he went to the barracks to check for loot. Low and behold, he turned up, went into the building to the back of the barracks to kill the zombies that were after him. Which is when I snuck up and fired my Bizon at him through the window and he disconnected before he died. Happened at 8:30AM in GMT ( my timezone ) and between 3:34 to 3:48 server time ( We think ).

So I was going to Cherno with my buddy, to try and kill some bandits. When All of a sudden we both hear a explosion and I'm knocked unconscious and I'm bleeding out. My buddy managed to get back to me and bandage me up before I bled out ( was on 6k blood ) then he accidentally shot me ( so he says ;) ) So I started to run back to my body, when we both start hearing explosions and as I was nearing my body, I see a Little Bird flying around. He saw me and tried to gun me down, when I remembered I had assigned FRAPS to record with my mouse button. So I clicked it and recorded a nice snippet that I've attached a link to ( This website was taking a awfully long time, and kept giving me 404 error ). I managed to get back to my corpse and DC all while hearing explosions. Time - 15:20 ish GMT time. Don't know what time it was in the server as I didn't have a watch and was running back to my corpse. Added a video of him flying it. Don't use sixlauncher. Try what is in This thread. If you're adamant on using SixLauncher. Try launching it with the BETA mod. Install the BETA from Here. Install. Launch SixLauncher and in the bottom left there's a " Options " button. Click it and tick the " Beta " box.
