Overall everything played pretty well last night. (First time playing since patch). The overheating thing is a pain in the arse right now. So now we have to have room in our packs for both warm coat and water proof coat or you run the very real risk of over heating, freezing, and/or getting soaked as we travel around. The one thing that really pissed me off though was that in the span of about 5 minutes the following happened. I am warming up. I am hot. I am hot. I am hot. I am thirsty. Drink all canteen. (100%) I am hot. I am overheating. (repeat that about 20 times). Finally get to pond. Get into water to cool off. My leg is painful. I have a fracture. My feet are sore. My feet hurt. Pristine pants--> Ruined. All items IN pants--- Ruined. Pristine Boots--> Ruined. I am hot. My feat are sore. It's a bit ridiculous right now. Still having fun in the game but the damage models and leg breaking glitches are out of control. I really REALLY wish they would focus on dealing with these things. I mean, welding helmets and pink derringers are nice and all, but come on. I can assume they haven't dealt with the roof top equivalent leg breaking glitch. Personally I think the broken wells are intentional. They are forcing people to experience the new overheating mechanic to see how it works. Just like after .49 it would rain every three minutes on what seemed like every damn server. I will admit that finding water was really a non-issue before. There are ponds and wells everywhere. And once they add in sickness from bad water it will be even harder to survive. I just hope that they remember that for people to want to play the game it has to still be fun and you need to at SOME point have a chance to get to a place where you are relatively comfortable and surviving. If they make it so that you are guaranteed death no matter what you do it becomes futile and eventually boring. Remember what Joshua taught us. When there are no winners "the only winning move is not to play." ....what? I'm showing my age again? C'mon, you guys play online games. You HAVE to know the movie. ;-)

If memory serves it was in Elektro, a few buildings east of the police station.

What do I do with stones? aka How do I make a fireplace?

Are you sure about this? I'm fairly certain you need them to cook meat. Though you don't need a stone just to make a fire to get warm by. -
I'll just close this door and back away,... slowly.

Love it when I'm running across an open field and hear a fence move from what sounds like 3 meters away. =P

They could add a camo tent option and make it so they don't even render at a certain distance less than the default for other objects. That way you would almost have to be right on top of it to see it.

HA! Priceless.

Damage models need major tweaking for sure. It's just that the silly bleeding takes me out of the emersion every single time. I'm sure it's near the bottom of the list for things they want to change. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Sorry if this has been posted already. For purely aesthetic reasons I would like a less (for lack of a better word) silly looking bleeding animation. It just looks like red puff balls falling out of your pockets when you run. It also looks extra silly when you are bleeding from a bout 2 feet away from your head/arm/butt, ...whatever. I'm not familiar with the engine and it's capabilities in this regard but I HAVE to believe it could be better implemented.

Every time I get shot at when I'm not expecting it I just about shit my pants anyway so, no I don't think it's needed in the game.

Mended several things last night. Seemed okay for me.

Sitting in a garage for over a half hour waiting for the rain to stop. ...fun game. =P edit: Changed servers,..... pouring rain. Non-stop. /sigh

If you hit a key like the W or C or whatever it will wait till the eating animation finishes and then will activate that movement. Perhaps you hit it while you were eating?

Zombies. Which aren't "actual" zombies. They are essentially just people. I don't know about you but I've never met anyone that can hit and bite a biker jacket and ruin it in a few seconds. I guess not knowing the backstory really I SUPPOSE they could be super human.
