    They meant turn your WHOLE BODY. Not just your head. Because you know, when you're not free looking in game, your whole body moves. I've always liked the camera movement of the Arma series. And changed the feel from traditional FPS. Why change it? I never heard an out cry during the Arma 3 Alpha. And its pretty much similar game mechanics.

    okay.... Join a first person only server. You can avoid everything you just described in your OP. Nothing has changed from the mod, city firefight wise imo

    Great idea. I like it. But like another post said, dont make it months long of "training". Since in DayZ, when compared to EVE online, its 100% Null-sec where ever you on the map. There is no concord like AI that protects you if from some random PVP. I think it would be a good idea for the skills to train while in game, compared to passive offline(unless it trains REAL SLOW), but have it scale with the amount of people on the server. The more people on the server, the faster you can train skills. It will stop people from just joining an empty server and going AFK. But i like the idea. Puts value in what each character can do.

    eehhh no. KOS was the same from Mod to Standalone.
  17. Better idea would be for dead players dropping coordinates to their stashes. Be it all locations or a % of their locations (if they have more than 1). This way, the player killing them will have the chance to search their body and find out their stash locations. Reward for killing and looting rather than just killing and moving along. It will also allow time for the party that got the coordinates to head to the stash and gain the reward.The dead player will also have the choice of going back and see for themselves if they still have the loot or if its been sucked dry. Not only that, but players might be deterred to just go gun blazing into places. They may let that lone player go in the chance another group will hear and come investigate. That imo would be a better system.

    Loot respawning?

    Currently, with servers restarting every 4hrs or so. I dont mind the loot not respawning. But once the servers start to last longer hours, then every 4hr loot respawn sounds like a sweet spot.
