Instead of making the infected take more bullets, make it so that only a headshot will take them out. Bullets can slow them down, shot to the leg drops them already. Maybe by making them a headshot and low ammo, would help people form wasting ammo on other players. -

Find a Coyote backpack or alice backpack. Only way to carry 2 guns in backpack.

I recommend, looting deer stands. Especially above kamenka area. There are 3 deer stands that are like 5+ minutes walk from each other. Loot one. Take everything, Then drop what you don't need half way to the next deer stand. repeat, you will go in a full triangle between the 3 deer stands. Hopefully the loot spawns by the time you get there. Last time i did this, was next to stary. Me and a friend were going for a deer stand. SO i decide to just take everything out of it. Drop it off at the tents. Then head to another deer stand. I then head to the first one i went to, and found a m4cco. It was no more than 20min since the first time I looted it. -
I think thats the point. Making a hostile area into a safe zone. Looks like fun. That pic looks awesome! Ill jump on it during the weekend. Regardless if its still up :D

Any posts made from the dev team concerning the removal of the debug menu? WIll it only be in the alpha stage? Thanks y'all. Personally Id like to see it removed. We already have the icons for food, thirst, blood and temp. Plus the screen gets all grey with less blood. So really no need for the visual amount to be shown.

Meh, not really for me. Ive noticed that we start knocking out once we get to blood<4000. Ive haven't experienced any knock outs with more than 5000 blood. Plus, if you need blood you need blood regardless of how much you have. Even at 9000 it can be risky running around with amount. I always try to keep mine at 12k. -

What do you consider many? 14% of the alive population? That is currently the close amount of people that kill others. All i took was Bandits alive/Unique Players. Maybe subtracting Bandits from that pool might be close to the number, but I am taking into account for the people that shoot back in self defense. Is 14% too much? What number is the right amount for irl situation? -

Who shoots at the windows? I just go to the back or on the roof. You do know that the boxes laying around are filled with meds right? I've also found antibiotics on the outside spawns, so there really is no NEED to shoot the windows. Just make sure to clear all the loot around the boxes in order to get access to the box. -
piss off this is a alpha its for testing your supposed to be fcked by bugs and loose all your shit EVERYDAY. until retail. What happens when you have no players to test your alpha because the same problem still persists many updates later? I will follow this up with saying: What happens when there are no players to test your alpha because cheaters and exploiters are still persisting many updates later? I like your comeback. :D

Windows Installer which is in fact an application that installs stuff for you...six launcher works exactly the same way, only it fetches the content for you automatically and also installs it, same with Steam. [/quote'] I see no .exe in any DayZ updates. All i see are files. So idk why you mentioned .msi and .exe files. I may have said program which is my bad. But still, why use a 3rd party program to fetch files for you? When you have the chance of it 'corrupting' the game like they said happened.

Um don't think so. You need the same DayZ version as the server. So go back and redownload the 1.7.1.5(I'm guessing this is what you meant since 1.7.5 is not out.) -
Rocket said that helis were causing too much lag, so he has to tweak them. There are a pinch full of servers that have them. But they are running old versions. So I wouldn't recommend them :D

Teleporting back to a previous position

If a fix has not been posted or a temp fix here is how i fixed mine. I am pretty sure when this happens the debug menu is gone. If it suddenly disappears then sooner or later this teleporting bug will occur. Re install DayZ. Not through that automatic install process called Sixlauncher or whatever. Do it MANUALLY!! Every file, not just the 'NEW' ones. I keep telling a friend of mine to that, ut he keeps saying "Sixlauncher says it okay" blah blah. This happened to me. I reinstalled the DayZ files, and it stopped doing it. Hasn't done it for a month since I reinstalled it. To top it off, install the beta patches. MANUALLY. Don't let six launcher do it. Learn to install them manually guys. It's better to know that YOU messed up rather than a program messing up and it says its A OK, and you going along with it. This was my fix. For all i know some my have done this already but it still occurs. Only read the first page. -

Not only can you toggle between the two. You can not turn them off to make it into a normal scope.
