Last I checked, arma didnt have an update in a couple of months. Havnt used the Arma2 link where you download the beta from. Recently, Steam has been updating the beta files for me :D Search google for Arma2 Beta download.

The Combat Logging has been there for the last couple of months. I don't see why you're complaining now. Thats what I understood from your post. You don't like having to wait to quit the game if someone shot at you. Like others have said, it sucked when you come up on a sniper camping north of Elek. Getting the jump on them, missing with your revolver b/c they were wearing their ghillie and you were just able to catch his movement from the corner of your eye. Only to have them vanish from thin air. Pretty pussy tactics I say. And when it comes to hackers, deal with it. Go to white list. Go to a non PVP server. Came across one this passed weekend. Was pretty cool, but boring to know no one was gonna shoot you.

Double damage what? So when dual wielding pistols, each pistol will deal 2x the damage of just wielding one? Even though I know what your'e saying, no. You'll miss. A lot imo. Either way, ADS with a Glock is good enough for me. Best work on you left mouse click.

Untrained civilians? Idk about your character, but mine can run a marathon nonstop, he can fly a helicopter perfectly, even one of those AC-130 planes on Panthera. He can use a sniper rifle, any gun he finds, and even knows how to plant a satchel bomb. I think my guy is not an ordinary civilian. Seems to me he has some military back ground.

Sure. As long as the graphics and CPU and handle it. Any windows (XP and up) OS with the hardware can run it im sure.

Pretty much this. Its a sandbox game. There is no set goal to achieve. You play how you want. You wanna kill? You wanna survive? You wanna scavenge? You wanna help others? You wanna hunt? You wanna take walks at the beach during a sunrise/sunset? Its all up to you. thats what the mod was made for. To give the player the sandbox they can play in.
