I am a loner. I roam from town to town doing my own thing. I come across other people from time to time and always approach as a friendly. I will call out to you and let you know I'm friendly. As a loner I usually have some extra ammo and food or bandages to trade. I won't group up with you. If you are headed the same way I am I will head somewhere else. I never camp anywhere. I don't know why some people get agitated that I won't group with them. I am willing to trust strangers somewhat but am also completely willing to Kos if I feel threatened or just have a bad feeling about you. Am I the only one content to spend the apocalypse alone? I just don't see any benifits to being in a group. I am a lone wolf and love it.

Last night my travels brought me to svetlo. Figured I'd make my way to the police station and see what kinda trouble I could get I to. Sure enough I find a guy fresh spawned looting the cars out side. I keep him at gun point but drop him a water bottle and a bandage. He wanted to follow me but I told him I'm better off alone. So I head for the next town down the tracks with the fire station. He followed me at a distance. I don't like that so I hid around the junk yard on the outskirts of that town and as he passed I gunned him down. Last thing I need is a fresh spawn following me. Just irritates me

Magnum in a chest holster may not be the most practical choice but I enjoy looking like Dirty Harry. Not to mention at close range it can be a one shot kill. My magnum has saved my ass several times in police stations, barracks and jail houses.

I was walking thru a clearing far north of the soccer field on the main north road past the storage units and all the sudden it sounded like I was walking on steel grating. Maybe it was a bug but I prefer to think I walked over a hidden ICBM silo.

I started playing SA about a month ago and have to say I love it. I am by no means a pro yet but have learned to really enjoy sniping. Having died to a snipers bullet many times now I figured I'd give the role a shot. Patience is the best attribute a sniper can have and it does pay off. I try to stay clear of the air fields and instead tend to hunt fire and police stations. I am currently using an AKM scoped with a bipod. Now I don't care what you feel about Kos or anyone's option on what I'm doing but where does the community in general stand on lone snipers?

I don't know if it's been said before, but if this game is supposed to take place in Russia then there should be RPGs everywhere.

Server hopping is just a means to an end. The end of the hopper. I love to sit in a building looking over the electro or or kamyshovo police stations. I just think it's funny to watch a person die while staring into the trunk of a police car or at some shelves. Scoped AKM is the best weapon for the job

Ok so maybe I was wrong. Guess you have to have a long gun and a LRS and only make kill shots at a mile or more to be a sniper. Guess I'll settle for ambush KOS'er. But waiting in cover for someone to come by is still the funest aspect of this game so far

Maybe not a sniper rifle in the classic sense of a long gun, but it works just fine for medium range engagements. On a side note. Are there any Add ons for the game that don't conflict with the tos that are worth getting?

Started playing a week ago. For my first kill I got the drop on a guy coming off the stairs in the tower at the north west airfield. After being KOS'ed several times before this I don't trust anyone. I tried to tell him to put his hands up but he turned to me with a weapon so I killed him. Must say I love the way this game makes you fear for you online life.
