I am a lone wolf assault type. Every is my enemy. I don't trust anyone but myself. I am not a murderer, but I will drop you if you don't comply with my commands. I like to RP on a few private servers as a Charnausian rebel dedicated to causing havoc to pro-government forces. As for my goals I don't really have any other than to survive on public. I'm also a loot whore. I carry an AKM over anything else. I prefer 30rnd mags over drums. I don't need 75rnds to get out of a sticky situation. I take on squads all by myself. Most scatter when you throw a couple of grenades and charge em like a mad man. Some don't and I do die a lot. But I ain't no punk.

The new crosshairs thing is ok bit the dot was better. I'd be good with it if the crosshairs were a little more visable. Are the devs trying to get us away from hip firing? I love everything else about the new update.

Yea man I'm glad your so hard core. I like a dot, makes it much easier for me. You sound like the person who plays in his underwear with a stick because it's so much more difficult. Somehow when I read your post I picture you as the guy on the South Park episode about world of Warcraft that Stan Kyle and cart man were fighting against. Not to sound mean or anything.

Never mind. Just figured out a nice hack. Just put a smal white dot where my pso1 is aiming at 200m with a grease pencil. It wipes away clean from my screen

Poor newbie, did the big bad devs make the game too hard for you? Loot is still everywhere. You just need to look in places you passed over before. Zombies are a breeze. You can jog past them very close and they won't chase you. Don't run at a full sprint everywhere. Actully., ease do run everywhere and aggro all the zeds. Makes it easy to mow you and the zeds down in one long burst from my AKM. We real survivors will be hydrated on the tears of the weak and complaining piee who are realizing this isn't call of duty death match anymore.

Find outhouse and look in every car, truck and jeep you find. BMPs and BRDMS spawn lots of military loot. Police stations have Orel sets galore plus plenty of MP5 mags. If you can't find loot then maybe you are meant to die.

They shouldn't be gone for good. They should all respawn on server resets. Have like 5,000 on a server. Even at full pop it would take more than a 4 hour restart to clear the map. Even have like 500 zeds in towns like Cherno and electro. That would be a blast -

I'd like more zeds, but they need to have a set number and not respawn. If dayz wants to be more realistic then you wouldn't have infected people poping out of thin air. You should be able to clear a town and the surrounding area. -

Automatic weapons are a given in any apocalyptic setting. When the world goes to shit, soldiers will be deployed and when they are overrun and killed their weapons will be everywhere they were stationed. When a military moves in somewhere they will have supply dumps. These will include weapons and ammo. The OP sounds like he souls be playing the Forrest or rust if you want a wilderness survival game. I think that would be more his speed. -
Well, the hills north of Cherno. Been here an hour just overlooking the town with my binoculars. It's very peaceful up here watching people go about their dayz. Seen two guys meet up at the gas station and head east. Watched a squad track down a bandit and kill him. I can see a sniper in the industrial area looking for targets. One fresh spawn decided to eat something on top of the police station. The sniper got him. Just kinda shows you do t have to anything really at all to enjoy this game. What do you guys do to break the monotony sometimes?

We could argue tactics all day. Bottom line is, it's a blast to nail server hoppers. Sure sometimes you get one and his buddy gets you, but most of the time it's one guy with stacks of good loot. -

You all miss the point entirely. Server hoppers are a godsend. Just find a cozy spot to hide in vybor or Pavlovo and just wait. As soon as I see a guy out of nowhere run into a barracks I just slide in behind him and wait in the door inside by the bathroom. Soon as they step into the hallway ...BAM BAM BAM. Instant free loot. -

Screw an RPG. There are dozens of BMPs all over the place with just the track knocked off. Crescent wrench, a crowbar and a hour or two and you'll be in business. All those things are in game now. Gimme a BMP! A crappy Zil sedan won't be anything to worry about.
