Hey I'm a player from India and my ping is consistently above 150-200, which is hilarious considering the other players on the server have ping like 20-50. So I was hoping you guys could suggest a play style for me. Should I not snipe because whenever I'd shoot anyone from afar they'd have probably moved past my bullet? should I compensate for that as one compensates for wind? Also, I always lose close range too, because I keep shooting people in their head and nothing happens and they shoot a couple of bullets and I drop when I'm fully geared and they're practically bambies. This is really spoling the game for me. Shall I give up all combat? Should I check in after a few months hoping we have an Indian Server by then? Thanks

I believe that this is what the game ought to be, hear me out, in a post_apolcalyptic world, when someone runs away from you, tells you to stay away, you listen to them, unless you want to be killed.

I'll check out the construction sites then, damn I wish Dayz had fast travel, sometimes it seems the dark souls community and dayz community are the one and the same, both get a solid kick out of difficulties.

SO I didn't find my own akm, I was on a pvp server in Berezino and I happened to come upon this huuuge stash of weapons and gear, There I found a pristine akm, and a drum mag but it was ruined, so I took the akm, knowing it's supposedly the most powerful (and loud) weapon in the game. So that was a week ago, and since then I'm been raiding krasinov and balota, military bases, schools, EVERYWHERE. and I just can't get lucky, I can't find a magazine, and I find tons of scopes, folding stocks, handrails etc for it, I even found 200 rounds. What I'm worried about it, I'm thinking this is a glitch, because I keep finding mags for amphibia, sks, fxn15, magnums, .22 30 round magazine, .22 round mag, every thing EXCEPT an akm mag, I feel like the game is taunting me, I have a fully pimped out akm and no damn magazine. Any folks out there with my problem? What do you guys think? Are we guys too fully loaded so the game doesn't give us good stuff? P.S- My friend whom I play with similarly can't find mags for his m4.

I actually love ghosting bandits, kneecap them after it and hear them beg for my mercy, but I just leave them bleeding, and to the zombies, plus it makes you feel like a superhero! it's like you're the nightcrawler huehuehuehue. I really hope they don't take away this exploit.

yeah I was pissed when they said you could have more zombies you could kill in a lifetime, more like glitch in a lifetime. and I agree with you on the Zombies giving birth thing hahahaha :') They should have more variation in the zombies sounds, also one more thing, they apparently sold 1.7 million copies of the standalone, and I just recently heard about them hiring an audio programmer and audio engineer. I was like WTF these guys have literally millions of dollars, and their team so tiny, how can we expect them to get anything done, I think they should just fire everyone on the team right now and hire the ones who churn out such epic content for the mods. :D

In my honest opinion, I don't believe that they should follow through with their plans to get more zombies, I think they should accept that this isn't a zombie game anymore, it's just a Paranoia simulator 2014 (Feat- bad ambient-can-opening-zombie rabbits-chain-link-fence sounds). First time I played dayz i was disappointed about the glitching zombies, plus their ability to run faster than you, spot you from far away, and hound you for a million years. If you have gear, zombies are a mere hindrance, a single hit with a fire axe puts them to sleep. But if you're a bambi on the coast being hounded by three zombies, you're screwed. This takes away a lot of fun away from the game. I think we should all implore the devs to first fix the zombies before increasing their numbers, otherwise it's just more glitches in the game. P.S- The zombies sound more hilarious than scary, most of the times I die of laughter than bleeding.
