As a fan of zombie games, I always thought it was cool to survive against AI zombies (Nazi Zombies, Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, DayZ) BUT, on the other side of it is player zombies. I NEVER liked being a zombie. I hate it to be honest. It takes away the fun. Games like Zombie Panic!, Combat arms "quarantine" mode, Horde mode on Left 4 Dead etc. It always seems to be uneven and it takes away from the "survival" aspect of it. When you are a survivor, you are always on the lookout, paranoid, being extra careful, tatical. That is what makes being a survivor fun. When you are a zombie, everything I said before is pretty much thrown out the window. It is like playing Team deathmatch, with 1 team having guns(survivors) and the other team having their fists(zombies). That is the uneven aspect of it. And most of the time, all you are doing is just running towards the survivors, getting shot, killed, respawn, repeat because usually the survivors are held up in a room with every which way covered. So there is no getting in. If they are not doing that, they are running around(L4D). Which then they will die eventually but, the zombie will die a lot before succeeding. Which drove me away from games like that, and drives others from games like that. So, you would have people joining a server just to be a survivor, and when they turn to a zombie, they leave and join another server. That is not what needs to happen in DayZ. :exclamation:
