  1. Obviously there are times where full auto is great, but do you really need a button to single fire a gun when you can do it manually? Keeping it in full auto and manually single firing is better, anyways, as you can also fire bursts or full ammo at will, without pressing a button to do so

    Reworked hunger system

I am sure there is an abundance of food at the moment just so people won't die often of starvation, leaving them to test and play everything else. Once the game hits, I am sure food and drink spawns will be turned down massively. As for your suggestion, it is a fine idea, but I just don't really see it as necessary. At least not yet. I think when a stamina system comes into play, eating "good" may help increase your stamina temporarily or permanently, but at this point in the development I'm gonna have to say the system is okay as is.

    M4 ammunition

How many bullets constitutes of a 5.56 stack these days? I remember a time where you could get stacks of 60 from unloading the mag, but I think they removed that. I just logged into an old HC charter of mine, and I have 230 rounds, and I have some 40 round stacks B)
  4. Just click your mouse rather than holding it down... Just because it is full auto doesn't mean you HAVE to shoot it full auto.

    Orientation

Run towards cities, look at their names via the signs at the major roads leading in/out. Then once you find that name, consult a map, I recommend http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus. If you can't find a city and you are inland, look for an overall downwards slope in the land. This should take you towards the coast more often than not. Once you hit the coast, it's quite easy to find your bearings. Ocean on your left means you are going South/West, ocean on your right means you are going East/North; it simply depends on what part of the coast you are on. Always be using ALT to look around. If you are in the middle of a forest, just run straight and you will eventually hit something, but if you happen to see a settlement while looking around, run there. It's pretty intimidating in size at first, but the more you play, the more you will familiarize yourself with locations around you, landmarks and the spawns. It just takes time. Take me for example. After ~150 hours (my current play time), I can navigate around Chernarus without even using a map with great confidence in me finding my way to whereever I want to go.

Trouble adding clip to Amphibia S

Is it the 10 round .22 pistol magazine, or the 10 round .22 rotary magazine for the rifle? you need this

    English direction markers?

An alternative to alt tabbing is using the steam overlay via shift tab. This way you still have minor vision of the game, yet full sound. I used to do this when I didn't have my second monitor, but now I don't bother at all after learning the map.
  9. Set up a little armory at the police station with all the weapons I found around the block... 3x MP5 3x Shotgun 1x CR75 1x Amphibia 22 1x Mosin 1x Splitting Axe 1x Hacksaw Also found an MP5 15 magazine, but thats for me. Hope somebody found it!
  10. My DayZ luckily rarely crashes, but a few of my buddies I play with frequently crash a lot, whether they be logging out of servers or just running down the street. Never used to happen really until this most recent patch.

Set up an armory outside the Svetlo Police Station

Two of them were on top of police cars, along with the CR75 and 22 pistol also on top of the cars. Make sure to check that out rather than only the trunk. Countless times i've found weapons, even magazines on a police car which has already had it's trunk looted.

heard someone talk on global,, what's going on?

You can check their pulse to see their name directly. Otherwise, if you press P i think you can see a list of all players, but of course it doesn't say who are where they are.

Anyone Find the Engraved 1911 HandGuns?

I usually find them at schools or fire stations. Seen 4 or 5 I think, have one currently in experimental with 2 mags

heard someone talk on global,, what's going on?

I am sure, but not sure his reasoning for communicating. I don't know what other privilege's admins have, but anybody can see player names. Maybe he was near the guy and knew his name, but forgot he was admin chatting not player chatting? Who knows?

Where did everyone on Hardcore Experimental go...?

I don't know if I was just unlucky, but I decided to play hardcore experimental again yesterday and found two things. 1. My frame rate was terrible, and I'm not exactly sure why. Is that normal for first person to be worse? I get a lot better in third person, at least in this experimental build. 2. In 30 minutes of playing I went through 3 fresh spawns, and was killed on sight each time. In regular, at least in experimental, people seem much friendlier and willing to adventure together to check out the new things experimental has to offer.

Suggestion: zombies don't attack when spawning in

I think the absolute simplest solution would be to have the 99 second timer if they decide to keep it, do whatever they need to in the please wait screen, but NOT SPAWN YOUR CHARACTER. When everything is ready to go, a "Play" button appears, and that is when you 'black in' to your character, wherever you left off. There is absolutely no reason for your newly spawned body to be in the world before you are, leaving you helpless to any immediate threats. Seriously ridiculous nothing has been done about this, it could be fixed so easily.

    View backpack contents

This is kind of the point of the idea. You put things you need easy access to in your pockets, like ammo and bandages, while your protector cases, food/drink, etc go in your pack. The one problem I see with this, though, is the hotbar. If you have a pistol in your back pack but have it on your hotbar, do you still pull it out automatically? Or do you have a double animation of looking through your backpack to grab the pistol, even though you never actually queued the backpack action.

Not regaining health when energized and hydrated?

Sometimes when you are recently hit, the healing/healthy tag goes away for a few minutes. Make sure both Energized and Hydrated are LIGHT green, not just green.

    I am shocked!

Did you actually see him dropping items? I have been up there on a server fresh after reset and there is an outstanding amount of loot up there. In one run I found 2 mosins 6 revolvers and a wide assortment of clothing, books, etc.

    MP5-K

There are MP5 mags; I have a 30 round, but I've heard of 15 round mags as well. Attachments, I think i heard the M4 optics (red dot, acog, etc) fit on it, but the MP5K I have is vanilla, with a foregrip and a plastic stock. Weapon Flashlight did not fit, perhaps there is a rail system available though.

Dean Hall on Vehicles and Barricading

Everyone is freaking out about globally restricted items. I am sure car parts will be relatively abundant; most of those busted cars we see in every town are sure to hold parts. The restriction comes into play with extremely rare and high end loot, such at helicopter parts, night vision goggles, and the like. I doubt we will see any difference in server hopping, as rampant as it is already, but these restrictions are there for a couple reasons. First, not everyone can have their own helicopter/tank or whatever. This is good, it provides incentive to band together and take down those who have them, creating some epic battles between multiple parties I am sure. The one problem I see if the current state holds, however, is those in the helicopter for example could run amuck for 5 minutes then server hop themselves. If some sort hopping restriction was set in place, ie you can only join 4 servers an hour or something, then those in the helicopter are a walking target for everyone, and ensures these rare parts won't stay in the same hands forever. Also, in the spirit of banding together, it can promote trade. Say you want a faster engine for your car, but cannot for the life of you find one. Hope on a trading post website and maybe you offer your fully pristine M4 with 2 60 round mags. Hell, some in-game trading posts may even pop up. I think this may be one excuse for a "friendly town," but that's a story for a different day.

    Fish & Game items

With the advent of hunting and fishing, I think more civilian sport gear should be added to accommodate this. Check out some of my suggestions and feel free to post your own. Fishing Poles From what I have heard and seen, so far you can only make an improvised fishing rod from an ashwood stick and some rope. You should be able to find a real fishing pole in residential areas. Also, since the poles are quite large, a quite rare telescoping/collapsible rod to place in our backpacks. Tackle Box So far, there are only 3 container items in the game: ammo box, med kit, and protector case. A tackle box would be a cool addition to hold your worms, hooks and maybe even that collapsible rod if you can find one! With worms stacking in only groups of 3, they can take quite a bit of space in your inventory. I propose the tackle box to be your standard 2x2, but holds 2x3 (vertically long) to hold a 3 slot collapsible rod. There could also be a larger tackle bag, but this may not be necessary. Hunting and/or Fishing Vest At this point there are no civilian vests in the game. Unless you are lucky, you usually have to venture to military areas to grab a vest, so I think a Hunting and/or Fishing vest is in order. These civilian vests can be smaller than the assault vests to provide incentives to still look for those, but these would also be more common. Army Knife / Multitool The classic swiss army knife, holding short blades, a can opener, screw driver, etc all in a 1x1 slot. These should be extremely rare due to their versatility in use and small size.
