Anymore Ideas that one above was not the answer?

We have been searching for a way to opt in our server to persistence . does anyone know how to do this , we use Vilayer ? "As 0.49 rolls out to stable branch today, the most obvious change with this update (aside from the stable hive purge) is the move of the initial persistence feature for rented DayZ servers to an opt-in selection with each game server provider. Given that consumer data, and player storage is such a valuable and key feature to DayZ, and still very early we want to ensure that the system is a physical choice each game server administrator makes. While this system is refined, each game server provider operates a last known good fail-safe for servers opting in to persistence that will restore the storage from the last successful startup in the event of any unforeseen failure. Moving forward into 0.50, we intend to move persistence from this opt in system to all stable branch servers." - Brian Hicks / Producer

Let me get this right . A person pays to have a server but cant make it private they are forced to make it public. Then hordes of hackers are allowed to run rampant and ruin the game is this right?

I cant wait for the .49 live to hit the stable , I certainly hope some of the hacking problems have been fixed , I have not played for weeks because of it , the hack where they teleport to us sucks . made the game not worth playing and it was happening everytime we logged on , our server went from 70th percentile to 370 in just a few weeks . I love this game and the direction it is going , but unless the hacking is quelled I fear the worst . well I hope they are up soon . Guess we will see if its worth continuing to keep our server up!

is there a current experimental test going on ? I did the opt in,, I recived a very small update , my library says Eperimental , but I have been able to log onto our stable server (=LIGS= server) ???

I think loot only spawns when server resets :rolleyes: so if its been looted then you our out of luck..

Dayz is not in my favor today after starting my adventures around 3am , I spent about 2 hours gearing up from a fresh spawn , well I decided to do a little target practice and stood across the street from a gas station , I unfortunately was not far enough away when I blew it up ...DEAD ...So I started fresh again 2 hours or so later logged off and when I came back the game reset me and I respawned , I tried it again 2 hours later same thing happens .. I apparently have a bug that resets me everytime I log off ... sooooo disapointing . all that time wasted.. sorta it was still fun.. I deleted the game ,cleared cache and I am now reinstaling . Crossing fingers it dosnt reset me again...

I had the longhorn before I died last , it was a very cool weapon and as accurate as the mosin , I was also able to put a silencer on it..

I have noticed the ak is very inaccurate , and the scope shakes really bad .., however if your hunting me I would prefer you to use the AK...

We welcome the challenge of not knowing who drops in our server , just know if you want help with protection you need to drop in our mumble also.. B)
