Has the increased difficulty had eny effect on KoS frequency?
IamSE4N replied to IgnobleBasterd's topic in General Discussion
Due to there being less loot I feel the need to kill people more for their gear and food now. -
Sorry to say but it would not run DayZ very well. It only has the intel integrated graphics and you need a dedicated graphics card if you wish to play anything more than online flash games. I would REALLY suggested building a desktop pc if you want to use it for gaming. Laptops just aren't made for playing games especially high demanding games like DayZ which require a dedicated card and a good cpu.

What can I UPGRADE in my PC to make DayZ run better?
IamSE4N replied to goodfellas2's topic in Troubleshooting
sorry for the late reply. I had a look at US prices and an i5 4690k and an ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX motherboard is around $310. the 4690k is the best i5 to get and the z97 board allows for overclocking if you want to do that. -

A 4th gen i5 and motherboard would boost your performance but the game is not optimized and still wont run perfect. -
Cool story. nothing better than a bit of action in Elektro. Also report the server, I'm sick of these clans renting servers and using them to cheat.

Full auto weapons have nothing to do with Cernarus atmosphere, nor survival lifestyle
IamSE4N replied to lucianpin's topic in General Discussion
Chernarus is a war torn ex soviet state. It makes full sense that there is a bunch of full auto weapons such as the AK type rifles lying around. As someone else said, it's not like soldiers were running around with double barrel shotguns. -
I think there should be old soviet uniforms and military equipment rather than German considering Chernarus was a soviet state.

Assumes american law applies to the whole world. *sigh*.

DayZ crashes when I join a server since changing back to Stable?
IamSE4N posted a topic in General Discussion
Today I downloaded the experimental patch and played that for a while. When I changed back to stable my game crashes every time I try joining a server. I get the 60 second timer but when on please wait my game crashes. I was able to get into 1 server for about 20 seconds but my game crashed again. -
I have the game about a month now and its being running ok up until about 2 days ago. I'm playing on a laptop and I usually get around 35-40 frames in the wild and 20-25 in cities but recently I've being getting constant frame drops under 10 fps, stuttering and the game completing freezing for up to 10 seconds or more and its happening every 10-20 seconds. It's making the game completely unplayable and is really frustrating me. Anyone know what might be causing this?

I'm not getting the laptop which had the specs I posted last time but could anyone tell me if the game is playable with these specs on this laptop even on lowest settings. Laptop or desktop: Laptop CPU: Intel® Core i5 2.4GHz processor speed GPU: NVidia GT720M 2GB RAM: 8GB SSD: no I plan on buying a new laptop tomorrow so a quick response would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Desktop or laptop? Laptop Monitor resolution: 1366 x 768 CPU: AMD Quad core A10 5750 2.4GHz turbo frequency (max) 3.5GHz Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 8570M 2GB RAM: 6GB SSD? (Yes/No) no Also want to ad in I know nothing about pc hardware but read an integrated graphics card is horrible for gaming. It says card reader intergrated and im wondering if this has anything to do with that. It might be a stupid question but remember I know nothing. this is a laptop im looking at buying not one I own.
